Hi,

I had the crashing over and over again. Crash to a black screen with the clock/wifi still running and one back arrow. (with update 1.4 I got all three buttons: back, home and the square) Connecting via ssh also kept working but an un usable phone.
I send it back. Waiting for a new one. I think you better do the same. Feels like bad memory or cpu.

Just got my A5 Pro and gone trough intalation, update etc,
Fwe issues unfortunatly;
1. Like you noticed Duo green flickering issue, the same is present in viber also
2. Recomended option with video stabilization is not available in any of menus
3. As I am in Ireland I am using virtual GSM provider Lycamobile witch operate on 3G, seems to be an issue with internet as phone did
    not recognize APN settings from SIM like last one that I had ( Vernee Mix 2 ) and after manualy inputing same it seems that
    connection is droping a lot
4. Seem that phone is draining battery heavly but I think that could be dur to first charge etc and need nore time to satle, maybe

I wouls be gratefulll for any input from admin or users on issues, thaks and best regards

This update has broken camera support in other applications - wide angle is not available and there are two "ghost" cameras that make most other camera apps crash.

I would REALLY appreciate if UMIDIGI spent some time with the Camera2 API, because the phone can actually take decent photos, just not with the native app.

What needs work:
1) Proper access to all system cameras and no "ghost" cameras (like an empty 16MP camera that does not show a preview or take photos).
2) Proper camera settings in manual mode - currently ALL cameras are limited to 2.5 second exposures and 6400 ISO max. I am 99% certain that most of these cameras are capable of longer exposures.
3) Something is wrong with the autofocus of the main camera - seems like it does not properly go to infinity focus. No manual focus modes work. Auto focus in general is slow and not too reliable.
4) White balance between cameras is quite different. Even expensive brand name phones suffer from this, but some calibration could be nice.

Basically install Open Camera and make the phone work properly with it and it will already be way better. I hope UMIDIGI can find someone who knows how to work with this and get this phone the software it deserves.

If I enable lockscreen with pin or password, with or without fingerprint, google backup doesn't work. Button "Backup now" is disabled and the items remain "waiting for backup". If I remove lockscreen all works well: the button is enabled and the backups are made to Google Drive.
Anyone has noticed this? And how about solutions? Hello Umidigi ?? Hello Ben ??

Use Volume booster from GOODDEV for a few years now to boost my bleutooth media volume for my motorcycle helmet. It really works. I just did not know it also works for calls.

If none of the roms work for you, you probably have a bad phone (hardware problem) and you should return it. If it never worked properly you got a DOA and they should replace it.

I have received this OTA as well. The problem with camera focus is solved :-)
