One way to see quicklly if it is hardware or a conflicting app is to reboot in safe mode (long press on "Power off" button). The phone will load only the system apps, not the instaled ones.
If the cameras still don't work it is almost surely an hardware problem. Send back to assistance.
If the cameras work without problems, it is a conflicting instaled app and it is necessary to see that one by one. See witch ones  have camera access: settings -> apps&notifications -> app permissions -> camera.

yes there are some stability issues with the ROM 1.4!

example: parameter to stop working / OK or google acesser to work / ok

its bug are very minor at home but on the other hand I have only one application installed on the phone with the original one and can be that depending on the number of installed application, the stability problem is growing.

but actually there is one!

Dear,Do you please have any stable ROM? Any tried not usable. Installed apps fall with error “Google play services has stopped” (pic1). Also whole Android system falls very often (pic2). I have tried factory reset, whole Android and cache wipe…same all the time. Also tried v1.4EU, which behaves also the same. Hope you got any stable ROM which you can send me as the phone is good, “just” not working...

not trying to update, I know from past that update is not clean. always flashing whole ROM.
running Android 8 on Samsung Galaxy S2 without isuess (lineageOS)...

It's fun (irony), I got the A5 pro in 1.3 and made 1.4 with fota! And I do not meet any problem of all those who are stated here! My only problem is the incoming calls to startup and configuration of unstable mobile network! otherwise I have an A5 pro that works totally well! I had some software bug that closes (like parameter or google service) but they are very rare! For two days I have not had anything! even the cameras are totally functional

any of you guys with the European ROM have any green lines on the left side of your display?

wireless update failing video - did you go into your apps and clear the data from the Wireless Update app? mine kept saying there was an available update to 1.4 after i had JUST updated to 1.4.. cleared that app data and did another check for FOTA - all software was up to date.. except my issues with the green line.

There are any place that I can buy a replace for that camera? I think it is a hardware problem
