Hello, I have some problems with my phone Umidigi A5 Pro.  I had flashed this firmware.

1. When I click to camera icon it appeared only front camera. When try to push rear camera botton just stop to working. In wide screen mode it wrote me that "camera has been disabled because of security policies".  I tryed some camera programs from google store and rear camera working but only some of triple cameras because don't recognised all triple cameras and the image is with reversed (with legs in the top). Flashlight didn't working.

2. When I try to delete a message that I received from some phone number, it delete all messages from this number, not one by one.

3. When I connect my wifi the icon to the top near the battery icon is just point, not normal icon for wifi. After some click lock / unlock the phone and working with it , the normal wifi icon appeared.

4. Can you add option for choosing a diffent mobile operator internet connection in the top menu. I can choose only on/off now. I changing from settings menu "Network and internet / Mobile network" and then sellect different mobile internet connection. This is not confortable.

5. Can you add option for different melody for second mobile operator?

6. When I watch videos from phone and push the power botton it stopped but when I pushed power botton again it started automaticaly. Can you make video player in pause function when i pushed the power botton again? And to start manualy. (You can look the youtube player how working).

7. There isn't icon at the top when the phone is in silent mode.

8. When I calling with somebody display make different things. Sometimes it stopped lighting when it's near to the ear but sometimes it just stopped lighting and I must to press the power boton to view the display (not every time working power botton when it is in calling mode).

9. Wake Up icon appears twice on the top next to the clock (on the left) and next to the mobile operator icon (on the right).

10. Contacts are read only and can't be deleted.

My 2 cents to A5pro community: many users complaint about low volume level on calls and they are right. In fact this volume is not comfortable mainly on noisy environments.
I found on Play store a small app (8.6 MB) called "GOODEV volume booster" that increases notably the volume of ALL sounds in the phone (except FM radio).
Be careful not to amplify too much or you can get sound distortion and eventually blow up the earpiece and/or earbuds. I put 12 or 13% and the result is remarkable.
Activate it on DuraSpeed and disable battery optimization in order to have the app always available in memory.

There is a bug with wifi mac address, it keeps changing with every wifi/phone restart making it useless with corporate networks as most of them are assigned by mac address. i truly hope that it will be fix soon.

soy jesus hace un mes he comprado un umidigi a 5 pro  y cuando lo compre estaba bien pero tras las actualizaciones dejo de funcionar la camara trasera  y me digero que esperara a la siguiente actualizacion  pero sigue igual  alguien me puede ayudar con este tema ?  GRACIAS

I need help. My A5 pro main camera is not working and the front camera in inverted.

*#8264# show main cam not found and shows camera has been disabled because of security policies when wide andle is selected.

"incoming call bug"

the A5 pro has a bug regarding incoming calls. You can call or send an MMS but you can not receive a call or receive MMS (missed call notifications do not appear either)

-A5 pro on and sim inserted hot =everything is ok and everything is working properly
-if we turn on the A5 pro with a sim already inserted = bug incoming calls

Restarting the A5 pro or turning it off then on again causes the bug of incoming calls since it is linked to the ignition with a sim card already inserted

the bug concerns French sim cards with the main operator "orange, free, sfr" but maybe other foreign customers are concerned.
In France we are several to have noticed the problem !

the bug was found with version 1.3 with which the A5 pro was delivered to me and the verion 1.4 of subject.

Android factory restore can fix the problem for sure but the operation is tedious every time and abnormal!

I have not tested but I think:

- eject the sim card, restart the A5 pro and re-insert the hot sim card, must be able to solve the problem …
- maybe the simple default restore of mobile network settings should be able to fix the problem …

Anyway there is a software problem at this level, with some sim cards when you start the A5 pro with this one already inserted it is impossible to receive calls and MMS but against can be called and send MMS. I think this is a problem of reading access point names or APNs in network settings.

- [color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]the problem of incoming calls persist on the sim 1 and 2 location- I have just done a test and I confirm, the default delivery of APN configrations of mobile networks in the settings of ANDROID unblocks the problem! The A5 Pro recieves incoming calls and MMS again!

So there is really a PB of reading of APN at the start with a sim card inserted in the A5 proSo after a restart of the A5 pro the user will have to go to "settings" then "networks and internet" then "mobile network" then "advanced parameters" then "names of access points" then in right hau the 3 small poins and finally "restore default setting" if he does not receive any more calls / mms...

Me pasa lo mismo, no me funciona la cámara trasera (cámara principal). Me aparece la pantalla en negro, tengo la última actualización y nada. Lo he flasheado poniendole versiones anteriores y tampoco. La cámara aparece correctamente al ejecutar *#8264# (main cam: imx398:mipi_raw(16M) lens type: AF
¿Alguna idea?

I have the last update and the rear camera still not working. It is appear with a black screen and I can't do anything. I  try Factory Reset but still not working. The camera appear correctly in the info with *#8264# (main cam: imx398:mipi_raw(16M) lens type: AF).

Do you have any idea?

The Phone restart after Charging and try to update.
But rapidely the display 'Error'

I think your black camera problem is due to a conflict with a third party application that you have installed
an application that requires permission to access the camera of course.

when I read another comment or the camera is disabled for security reasons, it is because the prebleme is due to a third party application installed.

it would be necessary for you and the others with a problem of camera, you made the list of the applications which you install. At some point and by comparison, we will end up falling on the common applicartion and that poses the problem.

I am with the last update and all cameras work at home so it can not come from the update! Or the problem has become hardware and it is a return service after sale.

My phone is working properly. No problems with cameras, volume calls loud and clear (with Goodev volume booster) , rooted, sip calls working and so on.
There are only two issues:
1 - Constantely "System UI stoped". I cleared cache, reboot the phone several times, but no avail. The system ui keeps stoping randomly. Anyone with this problem? Any solution?
2 - Impossible to make backup to google drive if there is some screen lock: pin, patern or password. The button "Backup now" is disabled. If I change  the screen lock to none or swipe then the "backup now" button is activated and it is possible to make a backup to google drive. Anyone  else has experienced this condition? I think the backup should be done whatever the screen lock, like other phones. Any solution?

Other than this, the phone is great on its price range. We can't  forget it is far from beeing a flagship.
