Hi. Don't be the only one who has those problems. Along with that, the phone disconnects the SD cards and the update did not solve that either. A shame that they do not respond and that they have delayed the delivery in pre-sale for 2 months, supposedly because they were testing the equipment so that they do not have failures and give a quality product. After updating to this version my main rear camera does not work at all, It's just blank and then it display that "It can't connect to the cam" but the fisheye camera and front camera works.

Hey guys - just got my A5 a few days ago. got it all setup; then the wireless update took over and grabbed an update. not really any issues so far - although now.. i just noticed there is a green vertical line going down the left side of the screen; midways between the front facing camera and the edge of the display. today was the first time i noticed that there was a line going down the screen. out of panic, i tried to research if anyone has had any vertical line issues from this phone / display but was not able to find anything. i don't really want to wipe the device yet, just because i've only had it a few days so far and just noticed the line issue.. throughout the day, i have noticed that the line will disappear and reappear - not sure if it's a temperature relation or faulty pin / ribbon cable connection. i DO NOT want to open the phone either.. the most that i have noticed so far with the vertical line, is that sometimes it stands out bright green on the screen. rebooting will take it away temporarily. no out of the ordinary applications have been installed either - i just stick to the basics of what i need; and i don't game on any phones either. has anyone else noticed this?? i cannot get to an LCD test to put up different colors to try and clear that like the Samsung pink line issue. . please help! i don't want to return the device either - it took over a month to get here!!

Many users need v1.5 update/OTA patch to fix unresolved problems.  If and when the rear/main cameras open, it still do not properly focus nor can take sharp pictures as a 16MP Sony camera should; and, when switching to other camera modes, it will sometimes say "lens covered" or just freeze.  If I wait a few seconds, it might or might not open the lens at all, sometimes blurry.  This is UNACCEPTABLE and lying about fixes.

this is same problem with me.

hey - about that line issue.. so i noticed that it's with the blue-ish wallpaper, the 5th wallpaper selection to be exact. all other wallpapers are not experiencing the line issue. i've gotten around that issue, for now; hopefully.. but give that a shot. i also went through the SYSTEM apps and cleared cache / app data from display options and Settings storage. also went in and cleared the data from the Home launcher app - which may be some of the problem. after clearing all the data from the apps that only handle display options, settings, storage for settings, etc., i did notice the line, but was WAY more dim than when i first noticed. but ONLY with that blue swirl wallpaper. could be a corrupted image file. grab one of the screen testing apps too if you want to try that - i did. just cycle through the red, blue, and green colors; leaving each color on the display for around 30sec. nooooo idea if ANY of this worked, but for now with a different wallpaper; no line! now, if we can just get to the bottom of the Duo green screening..

okay - line keeps coming back. just reapplied the system update from the .zip via recovery - still coming back..

going to do some backups and reflash the phone using the flash tool - maybe the initial system flash had some weird hiccup.

*i know the devs are watching and NO - not going to 'format' the chips*

aaaand some different findings after poking around in the developer options. enabling the force GPU setting, force 4x MSAA (ani-aliasing), and enabling disable HW overlays (always force GPU compositing) have stopped the line from existing. period. i'm going to watch this for a few days to see if this actually is the fix to the issue. DEVS PAY ATTENTION.

still haven't performed the flash from the flash tool yet - this is interesting that the line will disappear after toggling these settings. i'm going to go ahead and say it's driver related OR shared memory allocation for GPU / CPU for 2D rendering.
