Yes, you must manually download apk of google camera 5.1.018.177624777 that work for this S3 pro.

Unfortunately this doesn't work in my S3 Pro (fw is UMIDIGI_S3_Pro.E_V1.0_20190419_20190430-2205).
It installs, but can'thandle more than 8 MP pictures.

Actually, I've noticed some more bugs in the last days:
1) inside the app Google Photo I find sometimes some images which are exactly duplicates of pictures taken some days ago, but in very poor resolution. I think these are miniatures of my photos, I cannot get rid of them except by deleting them one by one, it's a mess.
2) the clock of my home screen is always ok, but the small clock in the notification area (top left) sometimes is not up to date (sometimes 30 min delayed!)
3) my google calendar widget turned in dark theme with the last update. But the google calendar app, when I open it, is not in dark theme (but I can switch into dark theme if I want).

Somebody can help?

I have also the big problem with the random freeze of my new  S3 Pro. No display response in different apps, sometimes even in boot screen. If I lock the screen and unlock it, then the freeze is gone. Back to factory setting doesn't help. Freeze also happens with safe mode. This shows that there is no relation to apps. It's a big problem of the phone - I'm sure of that!

In and of itself it is a great phone but with the permanent freeze its not possible to work with it. Sorry.

Hoping some guys of the Umidigi customer service read here and help us to find a solution! Thanks!

I see the new beta firmware has updated screen digitizer driver. Maybe it will fix this.

Yes, this version for S3 pro has some error and cannot capture in high res. Next updated firmware will more improved in camera software. please waiting for OTA update in early June (as UMI said)

Hi guys,

I need help. I just got my s3 pro out of the box. I got it a couple of weeks back and opened it to finally use it.

I got an OTA update from the system. Once it was applied it now just bootloops to Umi logo contantly.

I tried recovery and wiped everything and it still bootloops.

I also raised it with umi on twitter but not reply at all!

Tried installing SP Flash tools on windows 10 but I cannot solve the driver issue. Always says USB input device instead of vcom usb loader.

What can I do?

I have exactly the same problem. I have done all the steps recommended in the forum but cannot resolve it. I couldn't even report it as a bug to Umidigi team, hope someone succeed to report it !  Post time 2019-5-29 14:37

Hey, i have a problem with my new s3 pro where my touchscreen bugs. The touchscreen is pressed somewhere on the display without pressing a finger on it. I tried to reset the phone but it didnt work. Here is a video with the problem:

Hi, I have an S3 Pro that somehow bricked itself while I was using it. Everything froze and then the screen went black. It would not turn on no matter what I do, and I decided to leave it on my charger overnight. This morning it is still black screen. I decided to try and flash the newest beta update, but while the flash tool was loading that red bar, it suddenly gave me an error message and windows also gave me a notification that my phone/USB device malfunctioned and it can't be used. I have swapped multiple USB-C cables and they all give me the same message; I think this is the phone's issue. What do I do? The phone is not recognized by my PC, and on the rare occasion it is, it keeps connecting and disconnecting.

I've had the phone for a month. I'm kind of disappointed; I want a refund. I'm able to ship it back but I'm still waiting on support to respond to my email, if they ever will.
