UMI Iron not charging

Hello!
I got my phone 3 weeks ago.
For the past two days, I had to bend the charger in an angle for the phone to charge.
Last night I left it charging (it was 16% when I fell asleep) but this morning it was dead and I can't boot up it anymore. The LED isn't red either.
My pc won't recognize it when i plug in the usb.

I think this might be caused by the battery.

Anyone knows a fix? Should I replace the battery?

From the bend part It seems more like a problem with the phone's usb port and the charger connection.
Maybe your phone's battery just become empty and can't charge due the usb connection.
Have you tried a different charger/cable? If not, try it.
Plug it in and wait for some minutes till the battery gets some charge before try to turn it on.

I have tried 4 usbs that work fine on my old phone and 2 of those wall chargers that you plug the usb into.
I managed to get into the Boot Options menu but none of the options (Recovery mode, Fast boot, Normal boot) work.
I looked for lint around the port but there's none.
Also, I can't tell if it's charging or not since the charger should be bent and the LED isn't working. It's been 2 hours and a half since I'm trying to charge it..

I found the correct angle and I managed to charge it to 7% (it took 2 hours). Then I powered it on and it decreased instantly to 2%. It's taking so long to charge... Do you have any solution?

My phone also refuses to charge unless i bend the charger cable. Plus it will only charge from one particular combination of charger and cable and if i use any other combo it absolutely trickles the power in. I did think about initiating a return to Banggood but it wasn't worth the aggro so i just put up with the problem now. Having said all this there are other problems with my phone.

Maybe it is a contact error on the microUSB soldering.
A good phone repair shop could fix it, but they will take your phone apart.

Same problem and the worst thing is, I actually bought 3 of them for my office and one stopped charging about 3 weeks after purchase. i made a video of it and I contacted UMI and they referred me to the dealer, who also wanted a video of the defect, which I sent them. The dealer, Tomtop.uk on ebay, promised to send me a new one, claiming it was a factory defect. After over a month of claiming they had stent it, and nothing happening, they just stopped communicating. I turned to UMI and they just ignored me. Seriously, don't buy from them. It' s a waste of your money and your time. Most of the features UMI claims to have on the phone aren't even there, A major disappointment
