The battery app is unnecessary, but wakelock revamp is fantastic!

I know the battery app is unnecessary but I like apps I put a compass app and a code reader on as well but then my battery started draining like mad, I could watch the percentage dropping so I took them back off and all good again. I put an app called CPU-Z on and it reports live on what your phone is doing, just a bit of fun but it never reports the battery as 5100mV even when fully charged. It's on 98% now and showing 4195mV but it's lasting well enough. The phone picks up most wifi but it will not connect to one shop I go in it reports connected, no internet but 4g is fast enough for my needs. I tried pausing Wakelock just out of curiosity and the phone soon starts to lock up and not start again so it's now a permanent feature.

Where can you find the hardware version information for your phone ? I've looked and can't see anything to say what mine is. I must say my phone has been perfect for a while now, no surprise battery drain or shutdowns and nothing to cause any other problems. Used it as sat nav the other day with Waze and it lasted all day with plenty of charge till next morning.

After a few weeks of perfect behaviour the S2 Lite has done it again draining the battery overnight and it will now not charge over 91%. It's been on hours and is refusing to go any higher. It reminds me of a moody child at times it's so frustrating. Get your finger out Umidigi and sort something out instead of just bringing new models out every other week. EDIT to add the battery drain has slowed down but it still will not charge up fully even if left on overnight. I am going to try running it down flat and recharging to see if it will reset the battery calibration.

I hope the people who buy the new F1 Play and the S3 Pro get better support than this phone has received. I charged it last night and checked it at bedtime it was on 93%, 7.30 this morning as it has been lying unused it is completely out of battery not enough to start it up. I will start looking for something more reliable and think of what to do with this piece of junk. The 45 day warranty doesn't from Gearbest doesn't give you any time to find out what is going to go wrong it's time they caught up with the rest of the world and took responsibility for their mistakes.

I've asked the same thing a few times and can't get a reply. I don't think anyone at Umidigi reads their forum or they just don't know anything about their phones. Mine has the latest rom and has no problem with signal or anything else except battery usage. It needs charging twice a day at the moment and I don't use it that much to be running it down.

thank you for information. i ll try to update phone. if something goes wrong or noting changed about signal (huawei and samgung phones ok in my bedroom but umidigi not getting any signal) strength i ll broke this phone. umidigi is a big mistake.
