I have adb backup of my device but it doesn't contain IMEI numbers. Isn't it possible to download a blank nvram partition, edit it manually and then flash it ?   I'm using the db files from the ROM I used to flash my device (the last one downloaded from this websiter).

Hi Thomas,
We feel sorry to hear this.
Firstly you should switch off and on sim cards from settings ...

I saw that I could fix my problem by flashing nvdata.img and nvram.bin to my phone using FP flash tools. Could Umidigi give me these files if I send you my IMEI numbers?

You could try this maybe it works but it is 3 years old. No ideea if it works with mtk 6763.
Or method 1 in here seems interesting but I do not think that CTS menu is shown.
Or method 2

Please explain whole case from scratch because there is a lot confusions.
Please let us know did you format your phone or modified ROM etc.
More details would help to find solution.
We are not providing such sensitive data, but IMEI numbers can be recovered with SN-writer.
Please let us know do you have red warning in top right corner etc?

Two days ago I noticed a problem of writing permission on files (which was pretty annoying with some apps). I tried to fix it by typing a command on Termux (as root: chown -R u0_a194: u0_a194 ./*) but I made a mistake and it ended up crashing the phone. Android could not restart and it only offered me to try again or do a factory reset. After several tries, I finally made a factory reset.
The installation went well, unfortunately, my SIM card was not detected, I did not pay attention to the beginning (I did not think it would stay), unfortunately, it was not corrected at the end of the installation. I then tried to flash the phone with SP Flash Tools but it did not fix the problem. A friend explained to me that it came from the IMEI numbers (and I was able to check it then) so I tried many methods to try to redefine them but they do not work.
The most promising of them seemed to be your tutorial but unfortunately it does not seem to work either :/ I saw someone who managed to flash his partition nvram with sp flash tools, unfortunately, I have no backup (actually I did not even know it existed so I only have backups made with adb) so I do not know how to get these files that I could flash.

small precision: I still have the phone box with the IMEI numbers marked on it

This is obviously higly experimental (I also never tried this and I do not want too) but your nvram partition is obviously already fkd so maybe try this nvram from AEX 9 ? (GSI-ROM posted on 4pda.ru) No ideea if it is compatible with MTK67* etcNobody will give you their nvram.bin because it contains their IMEI.
I m not sure how you are gonna flash it with sp flash tools because download for nvram can not be set to true but anyway.
Link (obviously try it at your own risk, )

AEX 9 ? Is it another smartphone? I would also need nvram.bin

Got it from here. It is a ROM

The extension to this is .img probably, I do not have .bin. Not even in twrp, only nvram.emmc.win (img) and nvram.emmc.win.sha

I am not even sure that, that nvram file from AEX is took from this phone, but in case it is, maybe it would work, but I wouldn't recommend using it from another phone that is not umidigi one pro.I still think the best solution is to see why the sw writer is not working, maybe make a video ?

AEX 9 ? Is it another smartphone? I know how to flash nvdata.img and nvdata.bin but idk how to do it with just a nvram file
If it is the name of another smartphone I can also try to do this using the partitions from my old umidigi s2 lite (I would not have to change anything as I could keep the IMEI from the old phone as long as I don't use twice at the same time).

Yes I could make a video but I don't think it would be really useful as I already sent a screenshot of what I get using the tool

I still get the same error

EDIT: It's now fixed but the problem is that since the Firmware Upgrade mode did not work (I tried 3 times) I tried to first use the Format mode All + Download, then I used Firmware Upgrade and SN-writer ...and it worked! I am super happy because the phone can detect the 4g again and send messages, unfortunately, I lost features because of the Format All: indeed I do not see any option to setup the fingerprint, I guess it was part of the flash chip partitions that were erased. Would you have an idea to get it back?
