Hello! Can Umidigi add gestures to Umidigi One Pro? Several applications allow this with adb. Inexperienced users also want to use these functions. I am asking for the moderators' reply. Please, update the system.

Edited by Ghost505 at 2018-10-26 17:55 \n\nThat's a good idea.
Things that should be implemented :
  • Android Pie
  • Navigation Gestures
  • Autostart applications
  • Accessibility automatic on after restart
  • Battery life improved on idle state.

Yeah, gestures are great, but I've run into a problem here.
I've pinned an app, and can't unpin it now. It's impossible to 'touch and hold Back and Overview buttons' with gestures.
Anyone know of a solution? A moderator, perhaps?

Which gesture you choose, which app you pinned and into where?
Have you any screenshot etc?

Thanks for the reply.
First of all, here's what I mean by pinning an app: https://www.bestusefultips.com/use-screen-pinning-in-android-8-1-oreo/ .
Now, the screenshots:
*Screen1 shows which gestures I'm using.
*Screen2 shows which app I pinned (Google Play, but it's the same with any app).
*Screen3 shows the message (at the bottom) I get when trying to unpin the app by using any of the gestures (I can't use navigation buttons as they're hidden when navigation gestures are enabled).

The issue is: When you open the Recents page and pin an app, it's impossible to unpin it with gestures. The only thing that works is restarting your phone.
If I'm using the usual navigation buttons (Recents, Home, Back), the unpinning action works well.

So, the point is: Developers should implement a patch that would allow app unpinning if the user is using navigation gestures instead of navigation buttons.
I'm sure a lot of people have switched to gestures by now, they're a great addition, and thank you for that, but their functions are incomplete if they are making it impossible to unpin an app.

Thanks again, MarcinP.

Hi,
Thanks for information about this issue.
Unfortunately this bug is on all current Umidigi devices which got gesture control.
I reported this to system developers.
But this function must be not popular because nobody else reported this to us.

Great. Don't be surprised I was the first to report it, I used to deep-inspect phones as a side job. Now I'm here just to bother Umidigi for fun. :) Thnx for the support so far, I hope it continues..  Post time 2018-12-13 16:41
