Sorry, maybe this is not the right subforum.

The problem I have with UMIDIGI on pro is that I can't send /receive MMS without activating the DATA.
My provider is Free (France - PLMN: 208-15) and DATA is not free at all !

Note that with all other devices (iphone, samsung, nocia, ...., LeTv), we don't need to activate DATA to send/receive MMS .
Please do you know how to fix this issue ?

Please go to settings - network & Internet - mobile network - access point name
You should have MMS APN there or MMS can be included in Internet APN so please touch highlighted APN and check id there MMS address etc set.
Also you should go to messages - three top dots - settings - advanced - activate auto download MMS and in roaming if your network is third party or virtual.

The auto download MMS is activated by default.
The APN seems to be OK even if there is also "mms" into  internet APN:
Name: Free
APN: free
MMSC: http/mms.free.fr (this one probably is not needed here )
MCC: 208
MNC: 15
APN Type: default,supl,mms
Protocole APN: Ipv4


and here is FreeMMS APN config:
Name: Free MMS
APN: mmsfree
MMSC: http://mms.free.fr
MCC: 208
MNC: 15
APN Type: mms
Protocol : IPv4

Please let me know if there is some thing wrong.

Yes, I did all of that before asking for a support here.

and I've double checked, I've run a reset.... but still not possible to send or receive an MMS

I have 2 UMIDIGI one pro and I have the same issue on both, so I believe it is not linked to hardware problem but a software.

maybe this information can help you to spot the "bug":
when I send an MMS, it hangs on "waiting for the connection" (or some thing like that , I did a translation here from french to English. )

If I'm not wrong, I think that there is a problem with the PLMNs ...

menu "Network & Internet" / "Mobile network" then "Prefered notworks":
here I 've noticed:
1- that all of them are (2G/3G), I think this is wrong and needs a fix
2- Free MOBILE isn't there !!  , please add it ! ( Network type 4G/3G/2G ; Network ID 20815)

I don't know if this is related, but since the last OTA V2.0_20180815_20181113-0939, my APN is wiped out after each reboot, so I have to re-enter them manually each time.
