This thread is dedicated to the issue of apps not working after the phone is rebooted.

Explanation:
After we reboot our phone (Umidigi One / Umidigi One Pro), third-party apps are not recognized by the system and are not working until we open them manually.

Examples:
* Communication apps such as WhatsApp, Viber, etc. do not receive notifications.
* Apps that have the 'Start on boot' permission are prevented by the system from starting on boot.
* Other third-party apps that have any sort of reminders, background activity or notifications are not functional until opened manually.

Note: I'm a very advanced user and I've tried every piece of advice given so far by the moderators, in addition to setting everything up in the System Settings as it should be.
So, DuraSpeed is turned off, the apps are given the necessary permissions, the apps' notifications are set up properly, and even the Background check in Developer Options has been set adequately for each app.

As this is obviously a system-level software problem, let's all report it and kindly ask the moderators to acknowledge the issue and report it to the developers so they can provide a fix.

Edited by Sugar at 2018-10-24 08:19 \n\nI have been complaining to them for weeks about this on facebook. Kept saying that it was not an issue and they could not recreate. Now they say after posting a link to this thread that a known issue and they are going to fix. I'm not holding my breath.

"That thread is also about the app auto-start issue that we've confirmed already. Please wait for the update."

Thank you for the effort. Like you, I'm not convinced that they're really going to do anything about it,but it may be a good start in our battle to get it fixed. Lots of other issues to be fixed, too.  Post time 2018-10-24 18:50

I set the application for an administrator. It does not start at startup.

Thats weird for me it works, for example I set Simple Battery Graph as System App and after Restart, in max 30 seconds after I unlocked the screen with pin, it shows the notification ( 70% 3 hours until empty).

I also complained about Facebook.
After the various attempts on their part and my explanations this year answered this.
Bad experience with One Pro.

Oh, it's definitely a common issue. And a major one, too. Thanks for your efforts..  Post time 2018-10-24 18:52

I've owned my One for about a week and have had the same issues as nucleone's and dawidchelminski's.

As for Ghost505's method, you have to root your device to be able to set an ordinary app as a system app,
and that shouldn't be the way to resolve such issues.

I strongly believe that, as a manufacturer, Umidigi must address the issues and provide its users with a solution ASAP.

+1 here. And kudos to nucleone for perfectly describing the problem.
This is quite a showstopper for a communication device!

I hope that Umidigi engineers sometimes read this forum...

Thanks for that. Yes, the only and most important thing missing is a confirmation by a moderator that the issue is being worked on by the engineers. There are other issues too, but this one is urgent.  Post time 2018-10-22 21:36

Even in my "UMIDIGI ONE", the application will not be started automatically at restart.

There are also some applications that do not turn on automatically even in "accessibility".

"Greenify", "MacroDroid", "Nova Launcher", etc. automatically become "Accessibility" enabled.

"Tasker", "TouchTask", etc will automatically invalidate "accessibility".

There are a ...

Yes, there are a lot of similar reports regarding this issue.

It would be useful if everyone would report their problems so that we could have the critical mass to take the issue further, in hope of getting it recognized and then fixed.

The only solution except wait for an update is to root your phone with magisk and install those apps as system apps with lucky patcher.

I step into the discussion.
Also I have the same problem identical to nucleon.
Although I am an advanced expert user, I have NO intentions to run the root on my phone.
The phone recently purchased and PRETENDO that works well because now I can not use it with apps that are not system.
The situation is not acceptable.
Please take action as soon as possible.
Sorry for my bad english.

I step into the discussion.
Also I have the same problem s with the autostart.
I make a workaround with LuckyPatcher. I set Tasker as a SystemApp.
In Tasker I create some scripts to start e.g. Pushover and PushBullet at System boot.
And it works for until Umidigi give us a update.
Also I can connect my One Pro to a 5Ghz Wifi.

I do not understand why after the phone reboot the system disables accessibility facilities. I have to enable the accessibility settings so that my applications work correctly (gestues pill, Nova)
