Battery problems ? Battery drain on idle...

Hi i know this is not the right thread, pls divert this to right thread if there is any, coudlnt able to find one here thou. im new so i cant create a thread aswell:

i just bought an Umidigi one phone and it died within few hours, like literally within few hours of use.. had battery almost 50% when it dead.. no sound, no screen, phone is off as i cant reach my sim network on call. but when i put it on charge it shows red notification light on .. thats it ... nothing else.. Dead..
plain DEAD...

please help.. only been barely few hours.
im getting so frustrate and sad and sadder

I have this problem since January. I finally resolved it temporarily. you have to discharge the phone completely. then connect it to the computer and erase everything and upload the first version of the firmware.  my phone ok by few weeks the problem starts again. i think is a seurously problem of drain battery.

hey , i have not connected my phone to charger for two days now, thinking it would drain the battery out ..
could you please tell me more in detail?
should i use same umi charger cable to connect it to pc or different cable? my phone is totally dead, only red light lit when i connect charger.

I don't know if this is the right place but,

My Umidigi One pro stopped working 3 months after purchase, the phone went off at 50% battery and has not come on since then

I've been charging for hours and it has refused to come on, no matter how much i try.
Please help me as I'm a student in Nigeria and can't afford another phone, I used my savings to purchase this product.

Do you have a repair center to take your device to see what is wrong with it ?

I took to a repair centre and the problem is "The Panel" according to them and they don't have the part to replace it

anyone else here with the battery discharging too fast and / or fast charge "crashing" sometimes? I do not know if the problem is with the charging board, cable and adapter, bad update, or if it is the battery itself

Oh my gawd I thought I am the only one with the fast battery drain problem. I thought my device has a malfunction or something, I don't know, I can live with my Xiaomi redmi 5+ like 1 and a half day, and with the Umidigi one pro I bought from the Umidigi Amazon store I can only live like one day if I'm not as much as normal on the phone.
