Larger Capacity Battery Replacement

Has anyone tried another battery (with a larger capacity) that is the same size and has the same connector as the Umi Z? I would like to replace the battery with a bigger one (I did that with another phone before which drastically improved the battery performance back then).
I've heard that the 4000 mAh battery from the Umidigi S2 could be used. Has anybody tried that yet and did it increase the battery performance?
