Here is a TWRP 3.2.3 recovery image for the Z2 Pro.

TWRP is a custom touch driven recovery. It allows to backup partitions restore partitions, wipe cache/data, install updates, root your device and much more. All these with your finger.

It must be flashed using SPFT, or using fastboot eventually.

(Please note that I could not test it yet, as the phone I ordered is still on its way.)

Hello,
Impossible to mount Internal storage, size:  0Mb.
I have flashed it with the rom V1.0_20180920.
May be encryption problems ?

I have flashed it with the rom V1.0_2018092 ...

The zero sized partitions are reserved or invisible partitions, like tee, preloader etc... They are not meant to be source or destination in TWRP context. The only special partitions exposed here are NVRAM and NVData. Internal storage does not show as zero sized on my current phone with TWRP 3.2.3. My Z2 Pro has not yet arrived, so I'll be able to check this point in a few weeks. Perhaps I should expose tee1 and tee2 partitions for backup ? It seems that finger print samples are stored there, unless I'm mistaken. I'll update the image if necessary when I'll play with the device.

I could try this TWRP image  as I just got my phone. Internal storage, and everything else, shows up as 0 byte storage, and can't be mounted.

But, after inserting an SD card in the side tray, internal storage and external storage show up rightly, and are already mounted.

This looks like a TWRP bug, it's doubtful to be a feature.

Will this version work on Z2 Special Edition?   Have you been able to flash ROM images with this version of TWRP?

Currently working to install LineageOS 17 on the Umidigi Z2 Pro. All goes well until I get to the point of actual installation. System is not given as an option in TWRP and when attempting to install to any other partition "Image is larger than target device" shows.
Can anyone lend a hand as to what I might be doing wrong?
