I have 2 problems with my phone.

1- My phone umidigi Z2 pro the proximity sensor not work, when I make a phone call the screen remain on.

2- when I set the pin and then turn it off and on, it does not recognize the pin and I can not use it, the only way is to reset it from the factory and reconfigure everything.

System need a emergency update, proximity sensor and PIN LOCK

Yes, this phone needs an emergency update!
I've heard it may be available by the end of the week.
I have told GearBest about the problem, so hopefully they can apply some pressure, since I assume every phone has the same problem.
I flashed the latest ROM, but I wouldn't expect a normal user to do that.
I haven't set a PIN because of the problem, so I won't use the phone for any secure apps.
But, UmiDigi, this must be a major problem for you, as it is destroying your reputation!
I has a Umi Super a couple of years back, and it was great!
Please fix it!
I'll give you a week, and then it is going back to GearBest!

There is no need put "pressure" on Umidigi because we want fix this system error. System developers working on solution so please be a bit patient.

Wipe the smartphone and disable security and use it.
hope to improve urgently.

It could be worthwhile to use other screen lock apps, there are plenty of them on Play Store.

Can't believe I didn't think of that!

But it's now been said a fix is coming, hopefully Thursday this week, so lets wait and see.

Did you try to flash your phone back to the factory settings? also known as a hard reset?
