Try to install the TWRP recovery made for the older Iron.

\n\nOk after using phone for one week, i found some bugs. Maeby you can fix it in rom update.

• Problem when you unlock phone using fingerprint and pull down the notification bar it freezes like on this picture: http://screenpresso.com/=AgvR
• When you changing songs in music player and using headphones you hear loud electronic 'beep', its really annoying. U also have that sound when you unlock and lock phone with headphones in your ears.
• Small bug in fingerprint unlock. When you have for example facebook notification on lock screen and you click it, you need to enter pin, and after that you automaticaly go to that facebook message. But if click facebook notification and unlock with fingerprint you always go to desktop.

Ok, I got some answers.
1. Your issue could not be reproduced, not even on multiple devices. I suggest you to flash again the firmware of your phone with SP Flash Tool. Link: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1735-1-1.html
2. Engineers are working on a solution.
3. If you're already operating with the screen, on the top surface of the phone, that doesn't make sense to unlock it with the fingerprint sensor on the bottom. editor: Such a rational argument.

You should hold the phone in one hand and operate it with the other hand. 5.5" is not the size for one-hand usage or you can experience such issues.

you cant tell peoples how to use phone the problem is with launcher, becouse if you use drop down gesture on screen it will freeze.
It's ok only when you pull notification bar from the top.

PS. Do you know when Cyanogenmod will be avaibile?

Hello, i have the UMI Iron Pro since last friday.
And there was no recovery, when you put volume up and power on, then recovery said: no data.
I tried flashing recovery from normal Iron, but nothing.
And nowthere is TWRP recovery you can download it on www.needrom.com then you can flash it with flashtool.
Also 4G is not working very good. only when i am near a antenna from my provider.
And why save downloads in My favorit not in download? Because when i download something, and want to install or read it later, i can not find it in download.
I am happy to know much about phones, but i thought this phone should be working without troubles.
when i see all commercials, this is not good.
I hope UMI developers work hard for making a good working rom. Maybe you can look at needrom, my Jiayu have a good and nice rom developped byGermany and other one was XtremeRom.
And i know Mediatek is dificult for developers, because they don not give the source code.
