My Umidigi Z2 stop charging.

Have you being able to solve your case??... Because mine just stopped charging few days ago too.
What could have happened??.

Hi guys can we get an update on this? i'm having the issue now and the only i can stop the phone from continuing to reboot is by plugging it to a laptop but that also means i don't have a phone since once i remove it from the computer is gonna start its routine. seeing that you responded about investigation almost 12 months ago, what is the fix now? what is causing the issue? Flashing didn't work

Sir, This is October 2019. My Z2 is becoming a nightmare,  I have just owned this for 10 months,  I bought S3 Pros for my family.  I have advertised this phone to my friends 10 of whom bought the phone.
It just turns itself off.  What is the fix?

I'm sorry to post here but I don't know where else to write this and I can't start a new topic.

Can someone please tell me how I can get in touch with a live person in tech support?

I keep getting emails saying they're on it and then then I get an email saying they've closed the case because they haven't heard from me in a week.

I've been trying to get support for over a year... firstly from the reseller (no reply whatsoever) then via AliExpress (not much help) and then through Umidigi directly. I'm ready to throw the phone through the window except that I can't afford to waste the cost of the phone.

These guys have the absolute worst support I have ever come across in my life and I've been in IT for over twenty years...

I am a Japanese engineer.
I bought a z2se last year from GearBest and then I've gotten both issues of reboot and microphone.
I've been searching for solutions in forums but got nothing.
So I decided to open the case, then I've seen there were some connectors with poor contact.

Disconnect connectors, Clean up with Isopropyl Alcohol, Dry with dust blower, Connect it and do protection with Polyimide tape, And assemble covers.
Now I have a Z2se that works perfectly.

I guess there are some impurities in the manufacturing process of UMIDIGI factory.
I recommend white masks and gloves should be worn to Cute assemblers.
However, I strongly believe UMIDIGI already has been improved those problem now because my F1 is working very well with no problem.

I have the same trouble as many of the z2 users have, but in my case my phone starts rebooting after a year of use. I have tried draining battery to 0% and then recharge to 100% and also flashing it (successfully) to V1.0_20190214 system software, but  issue continue and rebooting is a nightmare, I use my phone to work and I can't spend buying a new one right now. Gearbest (the retailer) is not responding to guarantee anymore. I'm asking to help if sumidigi or someone had found solution to this matter. Thanks.

Hi there.
I have the same problem, my Z2 does selfrestarts when i have an incoming call. The restarts are continuos and i need to plug in the phone to the charger to stop that.
But, sometimes, it starts to restart when i play a game or trying make a photography. png@zmail.sk
When I replaced the battery, the fingerprint reader cable tore off. Could it be the reason that the phone won't turn on at all?

SAME WITH ME.  MY PHONE REBOOTS OR SWITCHES OFF COMPLETELY..  ANY SOLUTION YET?
