If Gorilla Glass 5 is really used, that would be great.


The Skylight in the UMI Super, was the best I've ever had.
The 3-color-LED in the Z Pro was a bad step backwards.
A smartphone WITHOUT notification LED actually does not work for me at all.


The absence of the front LED flash I feel as a big disadvantage.


EIS instead of OIS, in conjunction with the AI software is certainly a good solution.

I have been deceived by the lack of updates on my previous purchases: plus e, z, z pro, note 2, crystals and my biggest deception was the s2 with no android 7 for its bigger screen... What were supposed to be flagships were sold 250$, then 300$ and now even more but I don't feel the improvement justifies these always increasing prices. It's funny to see that 6 months later we can find them at less than half the listing price because of the bad feedbacks they received. If you want to keep your customers offer a real after sale service and give us updates at least every 3 or 6 months to show us you don't think your models have only a 3 month life expectancy... Xiaomi should be taken in example for this, more than a year after they launched the redmi note 4 its price has only dropped by 50$ because it's always updated which allow us to sell them in second hand for something while nobody wants a second hand umidigi. Think about it if you want to improve.

You are completely right.
Due to the many disappointments and empty promises of UMIDIGI I do not want to try the Z2 Pro anymore.
The fact that UMIDIGI discontinues support for their devices after such a short time keeps me from buying.
I can understand that support costs money and UMIDIGI would rather sell new devices.
But with this system, you are losing your customers.
Only satisfied and enthusiastic customers buy a second device.

We couldn't yet check that function until now, but since the Z2 Pro will be GMS certified, google payments should work.

Both the S2 Pro and S2 Lite will receive stock android 8.1 upgrade. Moreover, the Android Oreo system makes the future updates much easier, thanks to the Treble Project, that makes it possible to update the android system without updating the HAL system as well. So updates will no longer depend on the SoC manufacturer in the future.

Sorry but I don't remember such empty promises, except one case, when a Lollipop upgrade for the UMi eMax was promised, but finally we couldn't release it since the compatible driver was not provided by the camera manufacturer. Other, officially promised upgrades have been released or are being developed.

I did not mean the updates, but the promised and advertised specifications.
Here is an example of the specifications of the Z Pro.

=> I've never been able to take a super sharp picture with my Z Pro.

=> In low light conditions, the photos are always dark and very blurred.

=> The photos are never really sharp and are very pixelated.


"The UMi Z’s Selfie Softlight creates the lighting effects of a professional photography studio, giving you the soft radiant complexion of a supermodel for a beautiful picture-perfect image every time."
=> This statement is completely exaggerated and is not fulfilled in the least.
