So, after all those posts we can see that, there won't be more updates for the phone, what is ridiculous, the phone isn't ready for use and that's that!!!

This micro brands show why people shoudn't spend their money on them, they can't keep up, simple as that. They won't update the phone because they don't have the resources to do it, they just get to some software that makes the phone turn on and that's good, moving to turn on the next phone.

You are on 2018!!! And i bet that neather one of you uses this phone as your daily, if you do i had already smashed it on the ground, that's what i want to do to mine, 2018 phone, and it feels like android came out 6 mouths ago to the world

It's completly intolerable

Fake second camera
6gb of ram that you never use (never got more that 3 gb and apps close anyway)
A announced waterproof phone, that you can't put in water
A battery that will only last 2 days with phone in "stupid mode" (how can people live like this)
A processor that never riches full clock
In my case a faulty touchscreen
A bluetooth that won't hold a connection if you move your phone to fast or cover it with your hand
A joke of data connection (barely get 20/30 mb/s when my friend by my side gets over 80 mb/s on same network and data plan, just have a good phone

So i expect that banggood take the phone back and refund me as it as no repair

Thank you for making me waste my time waiting for the phone and now wait again until they get the phone back and refund me

Sincerely

Your disappointed costumer

After 2 weeks fiddling arround with my Umidigi S2 Pro, i finally can use it now as a daily driver.
I ...

There won't be any more updates, for them the phone is as good as it could be...

I wonder if the chipset from mediatek came from their factory bottlenecked...no one of you guys will get it to do full clock (it only gets 2392mhz, never 2600mhz, like it's suposed to, and you will get around 90% cpu load only with the CPU-Z open)

With this i could live up, but the performance is very bad, multitasking is a joke, i use some bluetooth earbuds with my phone on the pocket, and i get cuts all the time.

I would accept that in a 130$ phone, not one that is double that

It's a shame because i've seen the normal S2 working, and even though it brings only android 6.0, it's a far better phone and it as a weaker processor...so explanation...SOFTWARE!!!

After i've seen the S2, I rushed to buy de Pro version, because after what i see,  ithought  that a more powerfull phone with the same design would be great

I wish i  knew what i know today, never would i wasted my time and probably would get the normal S2

And the answer they give to people " management wnated to make changes, the costumers don't like it, we can't do nothing"

A business without costumers should be hard to run

I didn't smash my phone. It's a figure of speech, that's what the phone makes me want do to him...

When you make changes you prepare for it...you can left a phone like this, if you made improvements for the next phone, should put the work on and try to apply them on this device to, to show to your costumers that you do improve. I' ll not see that improvement because based in this experience i won't risk it. I'm just one costumer, but yet i am a costumer

Umidigi S2 Pro is the worst phone I ever have. All the complains about this phone is 100% true. Some apps opens after 1 minute. Screen sensor has very poor response and sometimes screen locks and not responding. Data connection is always at H+ while my other phone is at 4G. I just kept this phone in my drawer. I don't know what to do with it. I am even ashame to give it as a gift to a friend.  Umidigi company should do something about this issue otherwise nobody will buy their products even if they say that they have done a lot of improvements in their future products. Nobody will ever believe them anymore.  The same publicity was given to S2 Pro but look how the product turned out to be.

I hope your management will give us users some decent updates for this phones hardware is pretty good, software is not.
It took me 3days to get my smartwatches a sony and a zenwatch to pair with bleutooth, everytime this window where you have to agree the number dissapeared at once took about 20 to 30 times trying.
But he it does work now and i surely hope thy bring out an update for this phone it can not be abanded would it?

We didn't smashed this phone but technical support and main guys from headquarter using this phone as daily driver.
Whole phone and software was authorised by previous managers because they try improve something in smartphones section. Unfortunately some of users are not happy with this move and we can do nothing about.
Please understand that this phone was one of first Chinese phones with high resolution screens in 18:9 screen type also with around corners of LCD.
We never informed customers that this phone is waterproof, we said that this phone is water splash resistant.
Second camera is not fake camera. Yes, camera is not used for taking pictures but for helping in focus adjustment and to get more light to system. This camera is only used under certain conditions.
Battery could last up to two days but we also informed that will not let you down in 24 hours.
Because you smashed your phone you can't expect warranty solution because this is mechanical damage by user.
Currently Umidigi change a lot for new device because management change too.
I can only tell you that the latest device will not disappoint you because we implement a lot change.
We also operating with Lineage OS developers for latest devices.

I support the author completely, but all the many shortcomings can be forgiven, but the screen that very often does not respond to touch is simply horror, I will never buy a smartphone from this manufacturer again. And you say that it's a flaws because it's the first, so the mono was testing and not selling junk

I would like to help testing the newer ones, infact i also buyed a S2 Lite for that purpose, but at least the Android 7.0 should be flawless, because you cant hide behind the Google GMSCertificate next changes for the delay in Oreo release if the old 7.0 has app crashes and reboots.

I hope you understand, because you can be a staff member and i can be a tester, but the other 99,9% of buyers that make your company go on and not bankrupt are normal people that buy the smartphone as their primary one and cant trust it if has problems or make the ordinary life worse.
Probably the situation will not change if LineageOS group dont step in and do the dirty work for you, so i hope they will.

Wow this is not good, I hope this isn't what locked up my phone.  Because if it is and my dragon died over someones greed, well I will not be buying your phones even though I know they are a good phone. The lack of assistance from UMI, and if I find out Google had anything to do with the lock as well, and a creature died knowing he was in a bad situation which he was fully aware.  Someone will be answering for my Golden Boy. Still realling from the loss, very upset at how I was failed when I tried to reach out to get things fixed.
