So the saga continues,

it's a view days later and I have send and received from Banggood service about 20 mails.

Because of the low price of the 4 phones, shipping cost of the phones and the fact that all 4 phones have the same problem I asked not 100% restitution but only 50%. We do not want to send back and can use the phones but with lots of care and short usage becouse of the overheating. And we will have to search for better ones.

Banggood wanted to extchange the phones, but with 4 phones with the same problem?? I know now that this is a A1 Pro problem. I do not need exchange for the same problem. And we need the phones to stay in contact, without it we would lose money and more.

We have send prove of the overheating and blue screen and the phone glass beeing so hot it gets a life of its own and thinks there is a finger pressing on the buttons. We have send prove of the FOTA update and the error and that its not working no more.

Still, Banggood is offering only 20% on 1 phone €17.00 and 500 ponts.?

So after a lot of mails I stop corresponding with Banggood. They say they have buyer protection but If 'push comes to shove' they are not at home.

I did not accept the offer and have escalated this to Paypal to see if their buyersprotection is sollid.

Be warned!

PS,
The tips from 'MarcinP?' to constant get back to factory settings to solve all problems. To not use while loading and so on. Im not stupid, the phone is a sham. but you probably work for Umi, please get a real job.

Threshold temperature is 45 Celsius, at 44 Celsius hardware is correcting current flow in devices and power consumption to avoid overheating. To test phone under condition which you described, I discharged phone to 1%, activated charger and prepared during whole charging video chat.
Phone didn't get overheated also none of described issues occurred on my device.
I attaching screenshots witch charging process which is showing current drop at 44 - 45 Celsius also that the temperature never exceeded 45 Celsius. Also yellow strip on left side is showing screen on and green charging on.

Hi,
Do you mean other than using the volume buttons?

Sorry for responding so late, yes other than the volume buttons, i have the volume level on max but still sounds kinda low.

Is there a way to boost it ?

Hi there!!
I am having problems when doing Skype or WhatsApp video calls. Apparently the other persons say that the sound quality is very bad,, like if the microphone in my unity was not working properly. However  when I do regular calls or when I record videos the sounds presents no issues!!
Do I have a faulty microphone or is there a problem of the software when doing videocalls?
Is this something that I can fix with this engenieer mode?

Thanks for the feedback!!

Please try to check whether something covers the speaker grill or not. If that speaker is intact, it should sound loud enough without additional settings.

Hi,
Please try to record your voice with a voice recorder app. Then you can hear whether it's about a microphone issue or not. without hearing how your voice sounds at the other party I can't tell you what the reason can be.

Ending my past complaints with the acknowledgment that 'with help of PayPal' Banggood has partly refunded my money of all phones because they could not deny the amount of provable problems on this phone.

Does someone know a fitting H9 screenprotector for this Umidigi A1 Pro.
The plastic film standard on this phone is scratching and visability is less and less. I ordered H9 screen protectors aspecialy for this type on Ali but they are to big and do hang over the curved sides. I need smaler or curved protectors.
