S2 Pro - Basic Official ROM

Updated to this ROM.
No problems with fingerprint scanner or anything else so far.
Even the Facebook app works without any issues.

Not good working UI and no user manuals, isn't this - if not for us - but
really perfect for them? Does that produce a lot of fast money, or what? And if not so: Why do they so anyway?

What is the problem with that nougat stockrom - for some models/versions of the Umidigi smartphones?

Is it probably a hardware issue?

The thing is that actually phones dont have manuals so thats OK, i dont worry for that. the problem i have is with te software

This is my seventh smartphone (Motorola, Samsung, LG, Huawei, Umidigi); for all of them there was a user manual. In the last two months I sold an S8 and a Mate 10 Pro; they are user manuals for!

'Nowadays' still there are user manuals for smartphones! You better first verify what you are stating in the open world of communities!

Android-system and softwares continously growing with new options and versions.

Therefor user manuals not only makes sense but are a must!

One thing is for shure: I do not buy a smartphone again from Umidigi.

You mentioned only the flagship models of some world brands with thousands of employees and billions of dollars to invest, not real competitor brands. Even the lower value models of those world brands are provided with guick start guides and safety instructions only. I think as soon as not less then 1% of the users willl need such detailed user manuals, UMIDIGI changes its mind about this. If you face specific issues or bugs, such user manuals usually don't give you any answer.

Hello i have noticed 3 Bugs.
1. in the Camera Mode, when you go to fuzziness (in german Unschärfe), the App closed automaticly after restart the same error.
2. McAfee Software dont start. Installation works fine, but if you start the App, the App Crash.
3. Large Lags if you use a Laucher (SquareHome2, FullVersion). The Lags (3-5 seconds) will aoccur when you go from System Settings to Home Screen.

Hi,
1. That's the Bokeh effect but I can't reproduce your issue, not even set the system language to German. Erase the data of the Camera app in Settings --> App, and try again.
2. McAfee instantly crashes on all UMI OS devices, while other antivirus/security apps like Kaspersky work without any issues. It might be a resource handling issue of McAfee. I suggest you to send a report after a crash and maybe they'll find a solution.
3. That launcher seems to be quite a beta state app to me but other than that, I can't reproduce your issue. Touching the home button in the system settings menu displays the home screen immediately.

2. That mcafee ist not working is a Joke. I have a full lizence that also works fine on my elephone.

3. Für Launcher ist working still fine  on my elephone r9. Android 7.1.1. by the way this is no beta version( v1.5.6). The lags occur meanwhile everytime when i Close a App. So that ist not an App issue. Because i use the App since more than a year.

I have used an elephone r9 for about 15 months and have No problems like this.
I think the Umi OS is not the real Hit and makes the devices to a bad working piece of crap.
Thats all bad news. I think Umi OS is the worst thing you can do to a Smartphone.
This ist a real shame.
Umi Smartphone never again.
