You're absolutely right.
But there is workaround for notifications:
Allow apps which you want to notify startup in:
settings->permission management->App startup management
The developers of the facebook app should fix their own stuff - check its latest feedback comments. Otherwise, try to uninstall and reinstall it or to not use it.
Lol lol I can not beleave you are blaming the developers of facebook...It works on every singel phone i have apart from the S2 pro..Its clearly a Umi software bug and its dissapointing you put the blame on to other partys. So lets get this right your not going to fix it or you cant fix it..I would say 99.99% of users use social media so its very important in all our lives now.
I think the phone could have great potential if only umi would take notice of the bugs users are reporting.

totally agree, its so dificult to put stock android 7.1.2 or 7.0? you have it in all umidigi s2 except in this phone. Really is that mach difficult when all users are requesting it, and i repeat you, really is so difficult? very disappointing...

Something strange has happened facebook seems to be working :-) and iv not updated the facebook app either,The last time it was updated was on the 5th of this month now all of a sudden its working.
