i have same problem usb divice you connected was faulty and cannot be used  (windows 10)

Can you please help me, I have a umi z, I updated my Phone with the flash tool and now I have lost my imei number, I don’t have the box, can you please help me.
I have try SN_Writer_Tool_v1.1728 with work but I do not have a imei number so I used the auto generate witch doesn’t really work as it gives a number 123460000000282 and 123460000000283.

I can send you the files for SN_Writer_Tool_v1.1728 if needed.
Please help me and thanks for reading this

That's not possible to discover your original IMEI numbers. You can use an IMEI generator site.

\n\nbaixei a rom ao descompactar aparece erro, o arquivo está corrompido ou danificado, até consegui descompactar, mas ao fazer o flash exibe o erro UNKNOWN_SPARSE_CHUNK_TYPE (0X0040005) e agora o celular não reinicia mais.

There are no real risks if you strictly follow the instructions in the flash tool tutorial.

So if the phone turn on just connected to usb of my PC at the beginning of the flashing process , is there no hardware risk?
I wanna try to flashing following the istructions of this tutorial.
