If your phone turns on after connecting it to USB, the flashing process can't start. In that case, press and keep pressed the power button until your phone turns off. By flashing in 'download only' or 'firmware upgrade' mode, you don't risk the hardware of your phone.

I just bought this phone and came to the conclusion that it's very slow.. A friend of mine has the S2 and it's much quicker so i searched on the internet and found this forum.
I tried to flash this ROM but i keep getting the same error..

"ERROR: STATUS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH (0xC0070004)"

Anyone who knows a solution to this error?

Hi,
1. Connect your turned off phone to USB without starting the flashing process. Check in your Windows device manager whether you can see a MediaTek Preloader com port for a few seconds right after connecting your phone or not.
2. If you can't see anything, check your USB connection, try to use another USB port and/or USB cable. If you can see a different sort of new com port, then leave your phone connected.
3. Start the flashing process (Download), then press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the red progress bar appears in the flasher app. As soon as you can see the red progress bar, release the power button and let your phone be flashed.

hi excuse me . i have a big problem
i want to flash my phone(s2 pro) , it was started but it showed me an error after 1-2 minutes
and now my phone cant turn on and it dont accepts flash again

Hello, I needed do a clean install in my UMIDIGI S2 lite due it rebooting almost each time I calling, I used the 'format whole flash except booloader' option. I needed reset IMEI numbers after installation. However now it does not have  the touch ID option. Please, how could I reinstall/reenable the touch sensor (fingerprint id).?

*Luckily I have two UMIDIGI S2 lite. the other one I did nothing, but as well, it rebooting when I calling.

I know from my Elephone P9000 I had the same problem, installing the drivers for MTK is somehow difficult.
I had some trouble doing this to this time (had forgotten the sequens).
I've you follow the explanation in the link, I think it should work.
You have to use a Keyboard with cable (wireless is not recognised), hope it helps.

i downloaded ALL ROMs you released but cant extract ROM file(s) !!!
i'm receiving error (archive is defective) while extracting ROM(s) with winrar and 7zip.

Hi,

I received a Umidigi phone to service, and needed to install a new motherboard I got from the internet. The part should be identical, but I can't seem to boot it through the application. Is there a way around this, before I start experimenting too much?
