I have the same problem, i try different cables, adapters and its the same, only work to charge on ...

No audio could be caused by faulty USB C adapter.

But the USB type C is symmetrical so should working on both sides. I would looked in to USB port for burned or broken pin. There is no other explanation especially that you said that you used different USB cables and adapters.

I wonder if the problem related to the charging and headphone are related to the factory-supplied cable and adaptor.

Mine works perfectly.  I have several cheap USB-C cables and they either fail to charge or fail to connect the S2 Pro to the computer(power side works but data side fails) but that are the same with my last phone which was a Vernee Apollo Lite.  Good quality USB-C cables, like the one supplied with the phone, do not give such problem!  Fast charging uses much higher voltage, at least initially,  than the standard USB 5DVC so users with fast-charge phones should select their cables with care!

S2 Pro is my first phone that does not have a jack plug inlet and the factory supplies an short adaptor for connection to the USB-C.  It is plug and play in my case.  My only complain if any is while listening to the music I can't charge the phone.  However with 5100mAH S2 Pro is the first phone that can last more than two days usage.

I lost my factory-supply USB-C to jack plug cable so I ordered two replacement at the lowest price I could find from Amazon.  After reading this thread I tried them on.  Both work just as the original so I don't think we need the factory-supply cable.

I always use other USB-C cable, that I have with other older phones, for S2 Pro and never have an issue.  Some cheap cables can only do charging but a good cable can do connection with PC for file transfers.

I think plugging into a USB-C socket does warrant a bit of care if you want the phone lasts.  When the phone is new the USB-C cable may need a small push to fit/engage fully home.  That is the advice I gave the wife for whom I bought a second S2 Pro.

It's a stupid response BUT i had the same problem ....
Test this solution :
1/ put the cable (no recognation)
2/ and then put the earphone ... (i have a simple stereo headphone, no track or volume)
And for me, it's working well, you will see the logo hearphone on te top..
Sorry for my english ;-)
