Wifi turned off when screen off

Hi.
The OS has developed another problem. I had the January 17th update, which seemed to fix tge problem with background apps being cleaned, even when they were on the whitelist. But in last two days, every time I turn screen off, tge WIFI disconnects. Any fix for this???

To help bring more attention from Umidigi to this issue. Plus the behavior I see is slightly different - only when screen is off.

I have no issues like this, so I assume it could be something with the settings (whitelist) etc.?

In Settings - Battery you can choose the Regular Power Saving option to avoid wifi/bt disconnections, and also all messaging apps should be enabled in the list of 'Active apps after screen lock

Already had all those settings. Its stopped this behavior after I disabled or uninstalled all the bloatware / adware that I could find.
