The thing is: why umidigi not update it easily going to settings and searching updates (it has a name, I don’t remember if it’s via OTA or what). It would be best, and if you can customize it, more than best. Please umi, I don’t understand why you put stock android in s2 and s2 lite, and in s2 pro you put umidigi os (that I think it’s in alpha or beta).

I get that, even though if you put to many products out you cant give the proper attention to each one and customers are stuck with bugs or inefficient software. But, thats another problem. The issue is how the Pro version of this phone, which is expensier obviously, got the worse software? This phone had so much potential and yes I admit with the update it got better, but still way far for a $300 phone.
Were stuck with UmiOs which is TERRIBLE. The 6gb ram are not near being used, multitasking fails, notifications have issues, the phone lags sometimes with few apps open, loading times are too long on some apps.
BUT this is not a hardware problem. Is the terrible software umi install on it, all this problems are due to it. You can take some time and read all the threads on this forum, every problem with this phone is just made by UmiOs.
**IF the s2 pro in the future gets android 8 update, please make it stock. Stop pushing UmiOs.

About other highlighted topics by you, please read other threads because most of stuff is explained there.
I don't know about firmware upgrade but definitely engineers working to fix software issues.

No I don't know dates. But engineerings working to fix all umi OS issues.

then why put on a powerful phone such a lousy OS... ?

YES... you are all right. is what im trying to explain... if you update to Android 8.0, PLEASE, STOCK ANDROID. stop using umi os. And make the interface normal if you make a os... not a 2008 interface... Thanks.

Hi, i was thinking abhout this. i've seen this posrt: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-16780-1-1.html

I think this is OK if ypu continue updating the softwre constantly, and not stopping updating.

I will give you a list that would help you to have a great OS.

1.Remove some google apps (Because if you want it, you can download it in play store) And some umidigi applications more...
      2.Improve multitasking (VERY IMPORTANT) because is very boring to reload all the time the second plan applications.
      3.Improbve camera and some bugs like notifications. And improve speed, the umi OS makes the phone slowest than stock android with that processor.
      4.Allow to use Launchers like Nova launcher...

5.Change the Icons format, the square format is from android 4... make it like stock android, circular or something like.

With this i thik the umi os could be great (Not as stock android, but to have the nearest stock android experience) Thanks and please, comunicte this to
