Hi and thanks for this version. Just flashed it. Had to try twice because it failed at 94% during sy ...

I am going to give the ROM flash a try, never done it before. Looks like about 16 hours to download the ROM so that is the main thing to do now that I downloaded the drivers and spflash tools.
Hope it goes well, glad to read it went well for you-- did the ROM flash upgrade get rid of the adware issues (QuickTouch, Touchpal)? Also hoping 360 Security is gone as that was detected as having some sort or riskware trojan.

Blocking the space between your phone and bt device (with your body, walls or any artifacts) may interrupt the bluetooth connection. 2.4GHz WiFi networks (same frequency) also can cause inteerferenceies some times. Please try to test your bluetooth without moving anything.
For the camera turn off the camera flash and HDR for fast capture.

Thanks a lot for this (almost) stock release of the ROM, easy to install as an upgrade with SPFtool. ...

That was an unnecessary feature, now all apps can run in full screen mode. Those apps not supporting the 18:9 screen ratio (only old apps) still can run in 16:9 mode. Could you please mention a game, that's ''not good' in full screen (18:9) mode?

That's not correct, some games don't run in 16/9 without being cut out from the screen. For me it was not an unnecessary feature, by the way, Space Shooter is an example, try it(not so old as a game and constantly updated).

There are a lot of games with the same name. I tried this one right now and it works properly on full screen. If you mean a different game, please share its play store link. Anyway, I've got about 160 user apps installed on my device but no one of them has any issues with the 18:9 screen. On the other hand, that was very annoying to set each app one by one to full screen mode in the previous build version.

20171207 was the last official version. Did you use that or the 20171227 version, what was not officially provided?

It was quite easy to flash. Install drivers. Install flash program. Remember to uncheck 'user partition' if you want to keep it. Hold down power button to start the flash. If it fails, then restart the process.
