Also the issue as I said previously is down to people who formatted which one would assume has deleted some software settings to enable the fingerprint. Also I've noticed encryption cannot be disabled no matter what you do. Basically the security settings are redundant except the pin, pattern or password option.

Any notifications (sound and LED) still should work, only the notifications of some apps are not displayed on the notification bar. the developers are already aware of this issue but I can't tell you when it will be fixed. As soon as possible.
