i have received this update via OTA, but the photos with flash still get a greenish tint in it.... ...

The result of the fixed bug was literally green photos, not basically correct photos with greenish tint. Your photo is not green.

No its not there. Done factory reset but it dod not help.?Now i need to use a app to force it to connect

seriously? you say my photo looks correct???? you can't be serious saying that.... look the walls which actually in reality are WHITE walls.... what color do you see ???

it's a greenish/yellowish tint NOT WHITE ... so there is still a huge bug somewhere in the photo software which MUST be corrected, because there is no way to make satisfactory flash fotos.
look here i made some more absolutely CATASTROPHIC flash fotos in the fully activated flash mode:






all these flash photos have completely wrong white & color balance, while without flash as soon as there is enough light available these balances are correct.
remains still the fact that the supposed second 5MP lens which should improve low light photos does not appear to be real. same picture done on several camera apps (other apps cannot detect any second lens anyway!)
give absolutely same results, poor results to be honest!
the lack of quality in low light conditions is also very noticeable on video recordings! BUT i noticed that at least the sound on videos is recorded in stereo... :-) .... that was indeed a good surprise.

i would say it's really bad having such a poor camera application which does NOT improve low light pictures, which does not try to eliminate low light noise, which does not exploit the dual lens (if the 5MP lens really has any function...)
to obtain correct bokeh/portrait mode photos on a smartphone priced USD300, because otherwise the phone turns out to work well. so far i cannot complain except for the extremely poor camera quality.

SO PLEASE UMIDIGI, IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO MAKE OUT OF THIS PHONE A REAL FLAGSHIP AND AN ABSOLUTE TOP RUNNER IF THE CAMERA APP COULD BE REPLACED, IF THE SECOND 5MP LENS REALLY IS FUNCTIONAL THEN
URGENTLY ADD A REAL PORTRAIT MODE WHICH SIMULATES AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE THE DSLR-CAMERA PORTRAIT EFFECT.


ADDENDUM:
I made 2 series of pictures with flash, one using the full flash, the other covering the superior half of the flash (think it's the yellowish one...). so here is the series, the first picture each time with full flash, the second only half:







so i think it shows clearly that the full flash has a yellowish/greenish color on it while as soon as the upper half of the flash is hidden (covered with black adhesive tape) the pictures look better... not perfect, but better!

please let me know what will be done to correct this problem.

It just doesnt work all hw is connected as Ive used the tear down (Im not worried about warranty as I am looking at buying a 100 once everything works as it should!) Ive flashed it with every SP flash and QGDP rom available and it purely doesnt work.
Basically the issue is down to using SP flash tool and formatting which every person who has the issue has done from copius amounts of reading. Therefore Umidigi this is down to your process and software and you need to fix it otherwise any potential future customers reading this will be put off of buying your phones. Even your existing devices from reading have this issue so please fix it and you have a world class phone!!!
At the moment Ive given up on all listed processes, SP Flash, QGDP Flash, SN Writer nothing works so please fine a fix!!

The green photos with the previous versions looked like the samples shared in this post: http://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=16703
So even if it's still not perfect, this latest update brought a huge improvement. Improving the software of this smartphone has not finished, but with using tiny LEDs as light source, I wouldn't expect pefectly balanced colors in low light conditions.

well i disagree with you about not to expect perfectly balanced white & colors....
i do have several mobile phones. the one i actually mostly use because of its camera is the BQ AQUARIS M5.5 with a Samsung sensor and a very good software which makes bright pictures even with very low light and automatically balances quite perfectly the white color and reproduces other colors very naturally. so YES i do expect much better from  S2 Pro phone which is about the same price range as the BQ AQUARIS M5.5 ....

Only a few users reported this issue and if it were be the result of a new bug in the system software, then all handsets would be affected.
Please perform two tests to check the fingerprint sensor.
1. Dial *#*#33#*#* to run the factory testing app. Select SINGLE TEST, then FINGERPRINT and test your fingerprint sensor.
2. If your test fails - since you are not afraid to disassemble your phone - disconnect the fingerprint scanner, then try to boot up your phone once without the fps. Power off your phone, reconnect the fps, reboot and check it again.

Your opinion is respected. Mostly the huge amount of ROM and RAM, the fairly fast processor, the big battery, the large screen and the metallic case makes the price of the S2 Pro, not its camera. But as I told you, you can expect further improvements in the future.

Maybe your adapter cable has a bad contact. Did you try to use another adapter cable?
