Just to let you know:

Got a new problem. Could it be, that the Umi Emax does not support Link2SD?

You can't use Link2SD and special SD-card partitions on Android 4.4 and above sytems. You can use SDFix to make the SD-card available for 3rd party apps and you can use FolderMount to move specific folders (game data folders for example) or files to the SD-card. To install/move apps on/to the SD-card is not possible.

Hello,

I've got a problem with my SD card. I tried several but my phone doesn't recognize it. If i remove it from the phone the phone says 'sd card can be removed safely.'
Via TWRP I cannot mount the SD card.
Tried 3 different cards. Several formats; NTFS, Fat, Fat32, EXT4.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Try to look inside the sd-card socket to see if a connector pin is deformated. Apply some pure alcochol on the pins of a memory card, then push it into and pull out from the socket repeatedly to clean the connector pins. Use only FAT32 or exFAT format.

Tried it, but it did not work. Still the phone recognize that there is a sd card. But it cannot read it. The phone says 'SD card can be removed safely.'

Hi,

Will this tool download TWRP by itself, do you have to place a manually downloaded TWRP into a specific folder? Or is it already embedded?

First I installed the drivers (tool option 1) and connected the phone after installation (USB debugging enabled). USB Deview recognized the device as Umi Emax Mini and a Windows pop-up which was looking for drivers was shown. It was not any showing progress so (impatient as I am) I closed it because I thought drivers are already installed. Is that ok?

Furthermore how should I connect the phone. Now I am using the Drivers CD-Rom option. Is that correct?
Edit: I just selected Media Device (MTP) and the phone shows the pop-up with fingerprint for enabling USB-Debugging from my Windows machine, which I approved.

I tested the connection with the adb devices command, and my device is shown. So my remaining question is: Am I ready now to flash TWRP using tool option 2 or 3?

Hi,

Yes, now you're ready to run the twrp installer and the twrp recovery is embded in the tool, so you don't need to download/copy it separately.

Please, use English language here. Anyway, all messages of this tool pops up as simple text in a command window. So you can just copy and paste them into a translator window.
