If anyway you can power off your phone, you don't have to do anything, just power it off, then connect to USB without pressing any buttons. The phone must be powered off, not booted into factory or any other mode. The alternative methode is only for such cases when your phone is in boot loop and you can't permanently power it off.
I finally managed to upgrade my phone to ROM from this thread! From all those methods, including attempt to upgrade phone on Powered off device, only method with holding Volume Up and Volume Down + Power Button worked for me.
I think Windows 10 is messing up something with drivers and that's why I struggled so much.
Finally, I have a phone with normal Launcher and without all this crap apps!
the bloatware is shocking and needs to come off ...
Hi,
It's a semi-official ROM here since it's been published in the official ROM section with the permission of the manufacturer. Such basic versions will probably not be available via OTA but it's planned to reduce the number of bloatware apps in the official (OTA) releases as well. Version updates are not scheduled since they are the results of a continuous work.
So these versions with reduced / no bloatware won't be getting released any time soon then!?
If I flash this semi official rom without the bloatware I can always flash the official back once it's sorted? Because it's rubbish you would sell far more phones without it on because I'm impressed with what I'm using for the cost
