C2 - Basic Unofficial ROM

Hallo, I'm sad to say that after buying one i had to send it back because of the light sensor and the GPS - I just hope that that's just a software problem that will be fixed sooner or later - because apart from that I REALLY LIKE THE PHONE
My issues:
1) I've installed Elixir2 to test the sensors, just to finid out that the light value detected by the sensor jumps for 0 to a high value in one step, not gradually, which makes automatic brightness JUST USELESS
2) The GPS signal, in comparison with other phones is really weak (tested with "GPS Test")
How does this ROM handle them?

The Umidigi C2 is good, its hardware is interesting, but the operating system is poor in all respects. Constant crashes, applications that do not run on the system, including banking, false positives of trojans and viruses in basic applications of the system, among others. Umidigi should strive to manufacture equipment with pure Android. Root restrictions on partitions of some devices are also poor. I am no longer a consumer of this brand.

Starting from S2 Lite, UMIDIGI releases all new models with stock Android but unfortunately those older models shipped with UMI OS cannot be changed. The only option is to flash the basic ROM.

Hi, Thanks for the firmwares.
I really wanted to make the rom better the was not able to unlock the boot loader.
is there any code to unlock the bootloader?
I tried commands like  fastboot oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock or fastboot oem unlock-go but none worked it shows that Unlock: no

Please help !

Hi,
Fastboot flash commands don't work on MTK SoC based devices. Boot loader unlock codes don't work either or will brick the phone. On the other hand, you don't even need to unlock the bootloader to be able to flash customized boot, recovery or system partitions, you can do it with either adb commands or flash tool. However, the UMI OS based phones are shipped with Efuse partition protection, that makes it impossible to flash modded raw data partitions. Only the ext4 partitions can be modified. That protection cannot be broken via USB flashing/commands or with internal commands.

Sad.. but thanks for the detailed info.I ported TWRP for this phone and was even ging to port lineage for it, however I will not be able to do anything with this phone.If there will be no solution, I will sell it i guess as it will be useless to use Umi OS which is not stable at all. I prefer my good old Lineage 14.1.

If there are any other clues on how to flash the custom recovery, I would be grateful!

Really? but what about umidigi c note 2? on it there is the possibility of unlocking the bootloader, as well as installing a modified recovery ... There is installed the same mt6750t.
