This is the SP Flash Tool version of the v1.8 firmware for UMI Iron

Flash tool operation is recommended for advanced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

Changelog:

• When change the wallpaper, system reminds "Unfortunately, Launcher3 has stopped", and change failed --- problem solved
• Smart wakeup, the letter "C" will always show on notification bar --- problem solved
• When change music or video, it has noise "click" --- problem NOT solved yet but in progress (EDIT: 12.01.2015)
• Camera struck when switch front and rear one, system reminds "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped" --- problem solved

ROM: UMI_Iron_Y900_V1.8_20151120_1224.rar
Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6753_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1548.rar

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Dear rion1,

If you want to get an answer, please don't ask a question in a comment. Yes, if your camera is defective, you should send back your phone for a replacement or to repair it. I just mentioned that, how this issue technically can be solved. Of course, that's not a user's job to process it. That video doesn't prove anything. I'll give explanation in the other topic.

If you paid your order via PayPal and your phone is defective, you have 180 days from the payment to open a dispute and request a full refund. I suggest you to do that.

@con747: Please don't ask a question as comment if you want to get a reply. The microphone issue (if present) is caused by bad assembling that can be solved by fixing the hardware (remove or adjust the silicone socket of the mic), so you can't download anything to make it better.

A user has already proven that, it's a result of a defective hardware at some devices (far not all) ...

If I can not send the phone I can get a separate camera under warranty ???

That depends on the reseller but less likely occur. They usually request the customer to send back the defective phone. I suggest anybody that, never send back a defective device to China for repairing but only with the initial intention to get a full refund if you're still covered by paypal's buyer protection or at least by your debit card issuer. If you want to replace a part, then that's better to get the spare part by your own (if it's available), then to ask a skilled friend or a repairman to make the replacement.

That's probably a possible option for you to return your phone for a full refund if you're not satisfied with it.
