I'm afraid the oreo update never arrives. It's a shame because this phone is really nice.

I'm trying to debug this unofficial ROM in order to solve the google play bug (download pending...). For that, I'm trying to remove QK apps (in particular QK_PowerEngine which might bug) in the system.img file. Unfortunately I don't succeed to generate a working system.img file under Linux...
I use "mkuserimg.sh" (from the android extra files) but when I upload the new system.img file into the phone I stay blocked on the "umidigi" logo page and nothing happens...
I tried to make a system.img file without changing anything from the official system.img files but it's still the same problem.. Thus I guess that I miss generate the img file.
Could you please try to explain to me how you generated yours? Thank you very much.
