Your issue is not related to this specific software version. Try to use another USB cable.

You should have such issues in video mode only. It's a known issue but currently I have no information about a future update, that will fix it.

I am very happy with these instructions as they worked perfect.
Finally all the bloat ware is gone.
However the clock shown at the home screen, is that not supposed to show upcoming appointments etc?
It only shows the clock and nothing else.

Hello. I have noticed constant crashes in emid Umidigi C Note 2 with root and V1.8_20171017 Basic Edition. The on / off button stops working to lock the screen and the digital snsorber also stops. I noticed that the problem slows but does not completely resolve when I turn off the notification and keyboard vibration. Can anyone tell me what can be done? Also, if it's a bug, will a fix be released? Thanks, Roberto L.

Hi,
If you want to keep your user data, flash a ROM with SP Flash Tool in Download Only mode without the userdata partition. The flash tool tutorial tells you how.
