That's a false alert. The UpgradeSys app is not a malware, it manages the FOTA (wireless) updates. Without that, your phone wouldn't be able to receive wireless system updates.

What updates?

Im usually very patient, but on my S2 last update was 20171221, and there is no need to mention that security patch dates 20170205.... While on my backup phone huawei P8lite! its 20180201....

It is really shame and its the thing that makes me decide that I will newer buy another UMI phone. After Umi Iron (great build , my son still plays with it) that remained on 5.1 android, now Umi S2 that is stuck on 6.0 with outdated security...

It really is not OK.

Is there going to be another update to this phone, solving, at least, some the problems mentioned in the above posts, or is it going to stay like this and we should just forget it?

I'm sorry but I don't know about the release date of the next update. Maybe no more new security updates will be applied.

It is coming with a virus called BeautySnap installed on the system, please remove this, this is a virus and it came in all the devices of this model umidigi s2, remove the virus and launch a clean android version without it.

BeautySnap is used by the stock camera app, it is not a virus.
