Hi Admin, what is wrong? We don't hear something from you. I thought you want to help us to get our money back? Is it only hot air? We are waiting on a solution from your side!

I suggest you something. I take the battery out of the phone and send the phone to China. What is your comment? Then the best skilled staff, maybe of the whole world, can send us the money back. Isn't it a good idee Admin? I think this sounds very, very good!!

Edited by umidigger at 2017-12-23 19:38 \n\nDear Admin Ben,
Dear Admin Marcin,

as you know from my pervious posts, I was a strong defender of Umidigi in this issue, because I think everyone can make a mistake.
Now we are doing as you advise and are willing to send our by your OTA update bricked phones back to China on our own costs. And you know what? That`s still OK.
But as you can see in this forum I am not the only one who went to the post office and got the shipment denied because it is declared as a dangerous good. Lying in the custom declaration is a criminal offense, please don't encourge your customers to do so. Also sending it as a dangerous good for more than 60€ is not a satisfactory solution considering the phone cost us ~120€.
The way you are handling this issue distrubs the feeling of my customer rights deeply. I hope this message reaches out to anyone who is willing to buy a Umidigi phone in the future.

Best regards,
Umidigger

@tamonegdje
Please inform us how it will go on with banggood. They offered me 50 %.

@chaa
My Aliexpress seller is the Umidigi Store and it is awfull! They are not willing to pay anything. They want the phone back. But it is not possible from Germany.

I never buy a Handy directly in China again, never ever! No customer service!

It has been 14 days now since my device gone dead. UMIDIGi admin has confirmed that:

a) the 20171125 offcial OTA will bricked your Crystal 4GB/64GB device
b) the fault points to Adups the OTA service provider for UMIDIGI
c) Device can be return for full refund
d) Official resellers have been instructed by UMIDIGI to provide full refund for affected devices.
e) return postage shall be reimbursed.
Though posting the device back to China is a challenge for owners, the basic acceptance of the issue with UMIDIGI official resellers to accept the device return is still non existence. I believe except buyers that buys from UMIDIGI store at Aliexpress platfrom, buyers from Gearbest, Banggood and others third party official resellers are still facing a brick wall where the full refund are not provided as an option.

So please advise us on:
a) How and when will UMIDIGI instruct the official resellers to accept the return of these devices for full refund?
b) How to claim back the return postage?
