Please explain to me why the S2 is so bad in darker conditions. It absolutely looks like sh*t!!

For the x time: I love the phone but it absolutely has the worst camera I've ever experienced in a smartphone..

Okay I get it. But it's still way worse then my previous Oneplus One. In fact I decided to buy the Oneplus 5t tomorrow when sale starts. The Umidigi S2 would have been a great phone (it actually IS!!!) but since I'm a photographer who likes to takes pictures all the time the S2 really dissapoints me because it's almost impossible to take a decent shot when it's not sunny outside. I'm really sorry because again I love the phone itself. The battery life is amazing, it looks gorgeos and the pricetag is superb! I realise that you can't have it all for just € 150,00 but since the camera is that important to me I feel the need to switch already..

As you are photographer you should know that only proper camera (not smartphone camera) can give you very good results.

I'm totally aware of that and you're right. However there's a big difference in quality between smartphone camera's. I use the smartphone as a point and shoot on the road when I don't bring my dSLR..

Hi
Second camera is focusing background (depth of field) also increasing light coming to sensor. This feature is fixed that why is no adjustment and never will be because hardware can't support this. Bokeh effect is working correctly at bright condition and up to 2 metres from object.
