I measured the Z Pro for 6 times from 0-100%.
4 chargers were used and the result was always the same. The real capacity is about 2.250-2.400mAh.
The charging time is pretty fast because of the low capacity and quick charge (yes 12V and 0.8-0.9A), but the last 10-15% are very slow.

With this tool i measured a few other smartphones. Maze Alpha X 3.500mAh for example. 10.000mAh pewer bank has 9.950mAh. So it is pretty accurate.

Only the Umidigi with it's 51g !!! battery has a huge difference to what is printed on.
For 3.780mAh the battery has to weight about 75g, so it's truly a fake one in my opinion.

But i will open minded if someone can explain how Umi should done this with 51g (there are conectors and electronics included).

Best regards

Sorry but it's a bit tiring to reply such posts again and again when a user buys a cheap toy for measuring. Your device is not a battery capacity tester, so that's a question why you're speaking about its accuracy. First of all, basically you can measure the capacity of any battery by discharging it, not by charging. Moreover, even if you monitor the charging power, you must measure the electric power flow going directly into the battery, not the USB power. The Z Pro's battery is being charged with high current (around 2-3A) 4.4V voltage, while the USB power is changing and can go up to 12V at 1A or more. The voltage conversion may result false data.

For proper measuring you don't need a great investment (you can use this cheap tool) but you must remove the battery from the phone and measure it directly through its outputs. If you don't want to disassemble your phone, you still can get closer-to-reality results if you charge your phone using a standard 5V wall charger (so the charging voltage will be constant) or if you measure the discharging current with the AccuBattery app.

Screen sensitivity is lower in this update. Does it happen in yours too?

I'm not tired at all.

And i don't know why i shouldn't post this result. If you look at the tool you can see 5V...because i used it with the Samsung 5V/2A charger. This is the most accurate one i have. I tested many devices and all of them were i the claimed mAh area, except the Umidigi. And this cheap toy works better than you'll expect.
And i'm able to calculate what's inside the battery when i multiply the A with the V over a certain amount of time.

And i think it's a HINT that the capacity couldn't be 3780mAh...more than like 2.400mAh.
The battery is so light an thin. I took the 4.000mAh battery from the power bank an it was twice as thick with same height widt and length.

And i have to right to say this because i hold my hand above Umi many times when people were yelling. On online platforms i always had good words for these devices.

Yeah and the Z Pro is still the best phone they made, still if my screen glas cracked out of nowwhere, i had dust in the frontcamera, replaced the battery with the original Umidigi battery (got it from the program in this board, the old one was still the same in measurements btw), and so on.

If someone could give me a proof that the capacity is not fake i would be very happy.

When I hang up a call the terminal is blocked, I can not hear the audio on the whatsapp, the buttons going back on the internet are blocked and take a while.

In short, any cell phone works best for half the price provided it is not from the UMI house.

I have tired of waiting for an update and I am going to buy one in conditions.

Beside other similar devices, I've got exactly the same tool (KEWEISI) as well, that you used for testing. It gives false results with all PE fast charge capable smartphones without execption. It measures to about 2500mAh even the 5100mAh batteries of the S2 series. Don't compare the weight to 18650 cells. 1. This smartphone battery works at higher voltage. 2. The cell phone battery has no metallic shield.

Don't get me wrong. The Z pro is still the best UMI devie in my opinion. A real dual camera system, fast cpu, fingerprint on the front, good loudspeaker, back camera could be a little shaper, but it also could be worse, so it's okay.
Sadly there will be no update anymore, because the device is sold very often. But for 135€ as it was priced the last months it's definitly a bang for the buck.

When i measured the pump express charger from UMI i only got 938mAh, this couldn't be true at all. So i used NORMAL 5V chargers for my results for example from Samsung, or other brands. The output seems to be nearly correct for every gadget.

True or not...

...I will use my device for a while, because i had to optimize my front camera against dust, changed the battery, changed the display (thank god it has oem quality) because the glas cracked in my hand, while i was looking at my whatsapp (that was crazy!) and i hat to repair some parts inside.

I think it's not only the X27 that consumes so much energy, i think it's this type of display.

Can i ask you a private question? What device are you using as a daily driver?

Best regards

What currently I can show you is the test result with a device that can charge up to 4.2V (not 4.35, what's the peak voltage of this battery) measured a 14 months old battery.
The AMOLED screen of Z Pro has less power consumption than the IPS LCD screen of the UMi Z using the same SoC and battery.

Edit 10.03.2018: Sorry, the Z1 Pro has AMOLED screen, not the Z Pro but since only the camera setup is different in the Z and Z Pro, their battery consumption is also the same if every condition is identical as well.

Edited by panchik7 at 2018-3-7 02:26 \n\nGood day! Is it possible consciousness UMI on Android OS (7. or 8) to go into a deep sleep as S2 pro ' ? Ruth does not want, and to sleep Z pro not to send any way! Then 3 %, then 30% per night! Tired of constantly charge this is not a bad machine!
