Hi,

is there a looked bootloader available for the S2? I need it as I want to add my S2 to a MDM solution from Airwatch which is currently identifying my device as rooted.

Yes, I know about it but it cannot be enabled on this phone and anyway it works quite unstable in Marshmallow.

Hi,

I think the bootloader is locked as it's locked in all other UMIDIGI models. I can check it a few days later.

I did some additional investigation. It seems that Airwatch is ranking mobiles from China as rooted. No idea why. It is the same for OnePlus, Xiaomi, ....

Sorry but that's the second version of the S2 with a diffrerent processor.

Is there ANY chance that the S2 (V1) will get an update to Android 7? I know the SDK/drivers are not available to Umi at the moment but is there any chance that it will be in the near future?

The chance is present but we can't promise anything. Better not to expect that.
