UMIDIGI C2 V1.5_20170921 ROM - QGDP + SPFT release

This is the QGDP + SP Flash Tool release of the

V1.5_20170921 (UMI OS 2.0) system software

for UMIDIGI C2

Flash tool operation (either SP or QGDP) is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

UMIDIGI C2 receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

WARNING!

Flashing this ROM on any other model will permanently brick your device, flashing the original ROM that fits your device will not be possible anymore!

Please make sure, double check that, you are working with a UMIDIGI C2 smartphone before starting the flashing process with this ROM!

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI C2 if the standard method doesn't work.

It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop

1. Connect your UMIDIGI C2 to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Yes, currently that's true what you heard but the developers are being pressured to perfrom the appropriate changes, so an update will probably resolve those issues.

Why I can't receive the new versione by FOTA? System update tell me that I've installed the last version available...

Both of my phones finally received ota updates  today. I have the phones since 5.9.2017 and I was wondering why we don't get the updates advertised here. Thanks.

Feleségemnek vásároltam egy C2-t, tegnap megérkezett a frissítés és a gyári launchert még mindig nem tudom leváltani. Nagyon idegesít, hogy a hírfolyamot nem lehet szerkeszteni és eltüntetni.

1. Go to Settings --> Apps
2. Tap the 3-dot menu button in the top right corner and select 'Show system-apps'
3. Scroll down to 'Intelligent Aggregating Page' and select it.
4. FORCE STOP  then DISABLE.
Now the newsfeed page has been disappeared
