This is the SP Flash Tool release of the
V1.01_20170913 (UMI OS 2.0) system software
for UMIDIGI Z1 Pro

Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!
UMIDIGI Z1 Pro receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency, if the system software on your device is damaged and can't work properly.

WARNING!
This ROM is compatible only with UMIDIGI Z1 Pro devices originally issued with UMI OS system!
You cannot flash this ROM on stock Android with QGDP (official flasher app for UMI OS smartphones). You can flash this ROM on stock Android with SP Flash Tool but the ''Not Efused'' error message will permanently appear in the top right corner of the screen.
Currently it's not officially supported to upgrade stock Android to UMI OS, so flashing a stock Android UMIDIGI Z1 Pro with this ROM may void your warranty!

First version for manufacturing

SPFT tutorial: http://bit.ly/umifspft

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6757_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI Z1 Pro if the standard method doesn't work.
It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop
1. Connect your UMIDIGI Z1 Pro to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Dear ApaSzaki,

There are no such issues in the Basic Edition. I recommend you to try that build.
A szoftverfejlesztésre van egy szerződtetett csapat, nem én készítem (kivéve a basic editionöket), én csak közzéteszem a kész frissítéseket.

Edited by ApaSzaki at 2017-12-24 05:15 \n\nHi!
My 1st. problem is related playstore (google): all  ...

Hi,
1. Try to long tap the screen on an empty part of the home screen, then select -desktop settings in the bottom right corner. Scroll down and disable the Freezer. That might help. You also can disable the news feed there by disabling 'Intelligent aggregating page'.
2. Currently the default launcher cannot be changed in any UMI OS systems. Hopefully that behavior will be changed in the future but currently I can't promise you a certain date. Even older mmodels get updates but in a longer time period. for example yesterday the C Note, what is an even older and cheaper model received an update with Desember security patch. So the Z1 Pro will not be different.

Great release! Question though: What are the changes from this to the beta-version?

Some fastboot commands are disabled by the preloader (I checked it meanwhile) and that probably won't change in the future. A replaceable launcher option might be applied.
If you'd still test this release but want to use a custom launcher, after rooting you can delete the system/priv-app/QK_TransferAbroad folder. Reboot your phone and the stock Android launcher will be available or you can use a third party launcher.

I'm sorry but since it's the first official version, a changelog is not provided. If I get the changelog (even if in Chinese), I always share it without asking.

Thank you as always! I just thought maybe the bootloader unlock or changeable launcher would have maybe been implemented already. I'll try it out though!  Post time 2017-9-17 08:36

Ok, so now can you release to us (developers) the source code of the phone???

We need it. We will continue the support instead.

It's an issue since Nougat updates on any model and related not only to UMI(DIGI) models, so I unfortunately can't promise now anything.
