Why probably not Android 8? The phone is recent though. There are some slowdowns on the opening of some applications and also after a reset of the phone the address change mac of the wifi. How is it that the mac address wifi changes after a reset? Thank you.

First MediaTek should release the Android 8 SDK for the MT6750T SoC but that probably won't happen. The processor itself is not that new and is a medium-low category one. Don't forget that, the UMIDIGI Crystal is the cheapest bezel-less phone on earth, not a flasgship device. Of course if they release that SDK, UMIDIGI can create an Android 8 upgrade for UMIDIGI Crystal, but we don't expect that.
''There are some slowdowns on the opening of some applications'' - Please describe what it means. Which apps for example and what ''slow down'' means in your case.
About the mac address: Are you sure it's the mac address that changes after a factory data reset?

This is not because it is a model by expensive that can not have Android 8 if Mediatek releases the SDK. For example when I go on the Google app to read the articles and although I can not go down or climb the page because its ream. Same on Facebook to go down or up the thread of my news and well it oozes a lot. The page is not fluid and that jerks.

Yes it is the mac address of the wifi that changes. I have a filtering device for the mac address and when I reset my crystal and well at startup I could not connect to wifi because the mac address had changed.

I did a TWRP recovery for this device but the touch screen doesn't work. I will probably fix it in the next hour. I will post it when it will be done.

Hi, reading various posts and seeing some reviews on the internet is talking about many system-level problems Crystal also just running the management menu stops a few seconds, camera management very bad, proximity sensor that works badly, GPS that do you disconnect ......., these problems will be resolved with firmware upgrades or will you have problems with the device forever?

Aesthetically, Crystal is perhaps one of the most beautiful handsets, really noticeable led, but if in everyday use the above mentioned problems make it unusable.

Thanks for the info.

D.S.
