If this only belongs to mediatek, so they can already announce it will upgrade to Oreo like motorola did for their entry level phones running mediatek 6737 processor (same as the crystal 2GB version).

Hello, I bought an Umidigi Crystal 4/64, it's a beautiful smartphone but I think it needs more improvements: the speed opening apps is very good but there are often a lot of lags using the phone, the scrolling is very slow, like cancel notifications is very slow. I think it is a software problem, there will be other updates to have a better experience? Thank you.

No, there are only Qualcomm based models in their list.

Hi,
I was thinking about answering your question but sorry, finally I decided no to do that. A proper answer would take for hours to write since there are many affecting factors and just to mention some specific arguments would not make sense and could be only misleading. If you want, you can make your own researches by comparing price/performance/feature ratios, the origins of manufacturers and according to that, the availability of trained engineers, specofoc technologoes etc.

My GPS doesn't work and the notification LED pulses for no reason.
I hope this will be fixed. A phone without gps is quite useless for me.

Hi, I´ve been seeing some issues with phone but the worst phone reboots 2 or 3 times at day with no reason. Other issues, lags in general, I think this is not problem of phone performance may be software. I compare with mi old UMI MAX had better performance compared with crystal.
Pending test GPS...

Try install first version software from 20170818 is working very well for me and charge more faster. And
Gps working better if you switch on Bluetooth you compas will be on high you go to battery and pres 3 dot on right corner and go to battery optimization and select all app  find maps there and ygps and mark dont. Optimize. Yiu gps now will be working better You can increase call volume in mtk engineering mode but sound is going up just little

Just bought the phone (Crystal 4/64GB) and I can't update the firmware because whenever i try the phone reboots and then an "Error" screen appears. I can't use this guide because CPU-Z tells me I have the MT6750 SoC and not the MT6750T one. What can I do? :\
