Just restarted and now it does detect the 5Ghz network, so guess that's solved, and Erich, thanks for the tip, that worked!

any one knows how to turn the screen locker off???? I'm not sure what turned it on, but since yesterday all the time I unlock my phone with the fingerprint reader I get an advertisement screen first on which I have to swipe right to unlock, WTF!!
I see a couple of dots in the left upper corner, which brings up a menu to disable locker, but if I choose this I get the message are you sure you want to disable locker? You won't see the unlocker screen if you do (duh), and then I have 2 options, "not now", and "turn off" which is greyed out and if I touch this it just closes the window and the next time I unlock my phone the stupid locker just popups again....
I have almost disabled every app that's possible to disable, but doesn't seem to matter...
These shitty apps make the phone pretty annoying....

Edited by xybertecnic at 2017-10-12 18:11 \n\nProblem is I do not know which app it causes, if I look in the apps (and even system apps) there is no app called locker. But I kept on trying to disable it from the app menu, and after a restart it seemed to have worked, at least the last few days I don't see it any more, hope it stays that way. Shame that you cannot uninstall all the crap apps...

I see now that you replied with another message (did not refresh my screen) and I think I may have done that, so it could be that it's gone for good now...

I have the phone for 3 weeks... Not issues so far... But clean 7.1 would be a massive sale booster. The phone has the potential to be perfect..... (Apart of poor camera) but its fast and smooth...

pfff another problem, sound just stopped working, thought I'd changed a setting or so but everything looked to be normal, even did a factory reset but nothing...no sound when playing a movie or music, no ringtone, nothing...sad after less then 2 weeks...

sorted? you mean if I could solve it? Nop, it did change however, I read somewhere that it might be the headphone plug, and although I have not used it, I tried plugging in and out a headphone a couple of times and then the sound worked again...at least that's what I thought....
The sound works now but only for 1,5 second or so, I have really no idea what the problem is, might be a firmware issue, might be hardware, software I don't think so, since I already have tried a factory reset, after which it was still the same problem.
Strange enough after the factory reset when I go to sounds->Ringtone->Card 1 Ringtone, the app settings directly crashes every time, this was not before the factory reset.
The whole phone becomes useless without sound...although sometimes a bit of quiet isn't so bad after all
