I have a Doogee X5 pro. I was able to root my device, easily, without any problems; to backup (and restore) my system, using a Custom Recovery; to backup (and restore) my apps using Titanium Backup; to get rid of some annoying, imposed, built-in apps that I don't use (fortunately, very few, in this case); to get rid of annoying ads, using MinMinGuard, via Xposed Framework; to customize the look of my phone, using custom launchers and custom icon packs.
All of this was possible, with the Doogee X5 pro. All of this was possible with other Android phones that I had in the past. None of this is possible (at least, for now), if you have a Umidigi S phone. That's what's wrong with UMI OS. |
