no sir, just received the phone on 18th Sep, and the problem started from 19th Sep.
Didnot got any update aswell.
Fingerprint option is also not visible in settings-security.
I am fedup.

Another bug in ROM: If I configure the SD as default storage (SD configured as external storage), it loses this configuration after rebooting (again internal device storage is the default).

Also I am experiencing file corruption in stored photos and videos in SD (those photos and videos were taken with the smartphone), despite the SD is brand new (Kingston SD 32 Gbytes Class 10) and has been tested with SD tools.

Another bad behaviour in the phone. It could be related with echo cancellation in the smartphone.
On a call the other party when talks hear his their own voice as echo (using the headset in my Umidigi Crystal). The problem persists despite all the options I have tested:
I have reseted the phone to factory defaults.
I have decreased the MIC volume to the minimum.
I have changed the SIM card from the same carrier and from other different carrier
I have tested other apps as Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, etc.

It occurs allways when I call to anybody or when I receive a call. I  do not know if it is a ROM problem or a hardware problem. Can anybody help me?

Could anyone please help me with not working gps in my crystal 4gb? I need gps setting from Location Based Service in EngeneerMode in crystal 2gb. I've noticed that no one here complaines with gps but in 4gb version it is a disaster. Thanks

From  September 29th is available an OTA update, but it fails when trying to install it (error message in the maintenance mode).

Questions to Umidigi admin

I purchased 2 Umidigi Crystal 2GB/16GB and I am experiencing bad behaviours in each one (I described them in previous posts).

Smartphone 1:
On a call the other party when talks hears his their own voice as echo (using the headset in Umidigi Crystal)
UI not smoof (scrolling lags, touch screen does not respond, etc.)
If I configure the SD as default storage (SD configured as external storage), it loses this configuration after rebooting (again internal device storage is the default). Also I am experiencing file corruption in stored photos and videos in SD

Low headset volume in every call despite to set the volume to maximum
UI not smoof (scrolling lags, touch screen does not respond, etc.)

I think UI problem and SD problem could be a bug in the ROM and needs an improvement, but the problems with the headset could be better a hardware problem because each smartphone has its own bad behavoiur. Should I request a repair service under warranty to the seller?

When OTA update failure for 2G version will be solved? It seems also fails the OTA update for 4GB version. Who inside Umidigi takes care about such type of failures? Where is Umidigi tech support?
