Did you check with the 'adb devices' command whther your phone is visible as an adb device? Have y ...

Yes, adb commands work with my phone, I just tried with the pc version of iroot and it installed twrp, but didn't root my phone, then I tried to install cm via the twrp provided by iroot and my phone got bricked, right now I'm using the unbrick tool and then I'll try again to root it.

When you have ROOT then you can flash TWRP by FLASHIFY App from Playstore

I have tried to do that, but it does not work... If I try to reboot into recovery I get stucked at Umi logo :/

Is there any way to replace Kingroot with Supersu? I have tried to do it installing the zip frim the TWRP installed by iRoot but i jeep having the same error when trying to unstall the binaries, also, when i tell the app to install them from twrp it does absolutely nothing.

And I don't dare to install a different twrp because that has bricked some peoples phines. Any input on this? I feel a lot safer with supersu...a

- Download from www.iroot.com and install iRoot PC programme iRoot_1.8.6.19461_cid1005_7337ba1e.exe to PC
- Enable USB debuggng on eMax Mini phone side
-'Connect the phone and PC by USB cable, let Windows (7, in my case) automatcally install drivers

- Start iRoot from PC
- iRoot will fail to connect, you must Allow its USB debugging session on the phone side
- iRoot will find that phone was not Rooted

- Start Root from iRoot on the PC
- Grant requested permissions on the phone side
- iRoot will install and phone will reboot into TWRP (Teamwin Recovery)
- In TWRP, grant it to make requested changes into bootloader
- Phone will reboot and iRoot will show that Root was successfully applied

- You can install Root Checker from Play Store to double-check that root access is now granted

- iRoot installs KingRoot (in lieu of SuperSU)
- It also installs OneCleaner and its acompanied OneTouch Cleaner (for now, I left them)
- It also installs a bloatware app all in Chineese (kind of App Store), I have uninstalled that one
- I have also uninstalled its Romaster Connection upon finishing the rooting

- Upon rooting, I was able to succesfully installl AdAway from XDA Forum

- For now, I didn't go into replacing the installed KingRoot with SuperSU (instructions can be found on XDA)
- I also didn"t go into reinstalling the TWRP by use of Flashify app as from Google Play, neither to the further installation of CM12.1 via TWRP (see two other threads from this UMI Community eMax Mini Forum)

- I have rebooted the phone couple of times, it all seems working fine (not bricked)
- I didn't try booting into Recovery (some claim that pressing Vol+ button for several seconds or so bricks the phone, I don't want to risk...)

Could you explain a bit how you installed Supersu and replaced Kingroot?

For example, how did you boot into TWRP (after it was installed by iRoot),

For example, how did you ...

I used SuperSU beta 2.56 (google for it) and it's been working fine. Copied to ext_sdcard (/storage/sdcard1), then flashed from TWRP recovery. Run SuperSU after boot, let it update (normal), then it will prompt to remove "other superuser" program. I had to force-stop Kingroot from Settings->Apps->Running to have it completely removed.

To get into TWRP recovery, either install Quick Boot (from PlayStore) or use the key press method (Press and hold Vol Up & Power keys together while booting up. Have to let go Power key every 5-6 seconds then press back or phone gets switched off).
