Iron Official Rom 1.7V Release Now !

Hi everyone. I've installed v1.7 from the download link provided on page 1. There doesn't appear to be anything different. However, my question is...is it safe to download and install the rom from romjd.com? Is there any way the rom could have been amended prior to uploading and is not the official v1.7 and not officially from UMI themselves. There doesn't appear to be a way to check its an official UMI rom. I'm a little concerned as i'm quite new to flashing roms and i don't want to expose myself to any viruses etc. Thanks.

I think the rom is safe. I have installed the romjd-rom V1.7, too. Via rootjoy.

And there is a difference, that i have found in the new rom - the wake up gestures (of course with bugs)

Maybe there are more, but i have not discovered yet.

Rootjoy does not work on my computer. It says i have the UMI Zero. It did work once when i first got my IRON. I had no choice but to download it from the link on page 1. I did the dirty flash as i didn't want to lose all of my apps etc.

Unbelievable... I won't bother flashing 1.7 then and just wait another month and a half to see if they can provide a decent software to this (just) decent hardware.

flash of the camera as, usual, usb working 488kb, noise and click,  headphones.

Like I once said before:

The issues will be NEVER solved all. - I think there are too many Hardware Problems, not able to fix with Software.

Like the clicking noise, bad Audio Quality - NEVER

I use Bluetooth headphones and have now a good Music experience.

UMI Company make badest Service - we see it with the covers in example.

The solution for all these issues is...buy the new UMI IRON Pro lol
